Hi,

Been playing online since 2000 starting with EQ and did 4-5 boxing even then when it was still shady doing it and you could accually get banned from playing EQ if you played more then one account, lol i wonder why.

Well that has all changed now fortunately and i have played 2 chars from the wow start (mage 'n paladin) and later i got my 3rd account lvling a shaman when TBC came out.

TBH i think WoW is easy, all talk about this and that being overpowered is accually being due to the players playing are prolly that much better then the ones complaining about it, its like demanding a nerf to tennis due to Nadal being op :D

In WoW its easy to be Nadal if you just got half a brain ;) and having done most of the content in WoW upp to n including killin Illidan i started looking into mboxing again, tbh playing my shaman was no challange anymore and since many of my friends were also really good players there is only so much fun doing raids and instances for the 1111time, ie i needed a new challange!!!

With the new RAF system i scraped my old chars, keep one account and RAF 4 others, yay 3x xp +mounts etc etc :)

I love these forums and the ppl, here you meed ppl thinking out of the (m)box ;) so i felt i had to present my team and my thoughts.

Please feel free to give me pointers as I am learning new stuff every day lvling my 5 man(tho 3 virtual women)team

1 - I am all about PvE - I do pvp but then i only play one char, i might one day try pvping with more then one but not today.

2 - my team are all dwarf - love dwarfs, they sound cool and have "stonestance" best racial of all alliance, i havent gone for the "we all look alike" on my dwarfs tho, 3 are females (cause dwarf females are the best looking females ingame) and 2 males, makes it easier to keep em apart.

3 - Paladin tank, goes without saying i belive, AOE tanking, great buffs, not much skill needed to tank with a paladin...

4 - Priest healer, AoE heals, STA buffs, mass dispelling, i just think priest are the easiest mbox healer.

5 - 3 hunters, reason for this choice was 3 things, ONE - pets (xtra dps and tanking) TWO - dps dont end with oom or silence THREE - survivalability

Talents -

paladin spec is ofc prot, nothing special about it-

Priest is holy with a few talents info disc for x-tra fortitude buff.

Hunters - BM atm and will prolly stay like that, i stay away from abilities that demand activation by pressing a button there are enough of them to keep you happy a rainy day anyway when you play 5 chars the same time ;)

Pets

My 1st choice of pets are Tenacity pets IE tank pets, let me explain my thought, again im going for survivalablility, tenacity pets dont do the most dmg but they do have alot of HP, AC and dmg migitating skills, which means that i wont have to worry so much about them, they will be there doing their dmg and even tank the odd add should it be neccecary, meaning less dmg taken to party and even provide some rudimentary CC.

Bear is my choice of Tenacity pet, why? TADA!!! I give you swipe!!! Swipe is an attack that strikes 3 targets doing dmg to them, so i now have 3 bears with aoe attacks that have ALOT of hp, combined with great BM talents that boosts hunters as long as their pets are alive giving mana and HP, Paladin aoe tanking with fairly ok hunter multishot AOE attacks.

This gives me, staying power combined with CC/offtanking while doing AOE and all of it without me having to do that much all things considered.

Pets autoattack when hunters assist, and those hunters will still be shooting theirs guns even when i dont pay attention to them.

Ok, im only 50+ atm, but having lived in DM-SM-ULDA-Mara doing the instance quests im learning even more tricks to fine tune my setup.

There is probably more to say about my setup but ill leave it at this for now, please feel free to give me feedback, i am afterall a rookie when it comes to 5box wow ;)

Thanks for a great comunity and btw i live on Turalyon alliance side!

Cheers for now

just a short uppdate.

Didnt have to much time today so i gathered some quest and headed to ST, the RAF bonus xp makes me lvl a tad fast for my liking to be honest, i dont really want to do the instances when they are trivial being 50-53 makes ST a bit trivial imo, but ST have some good gear and some quests that give good xp.

ST is a great looking instance, its been problably over 1,5 years since i been there the last time and then i had a boost from my paladin, this time i were on my own ;)

I keept dispell magic ready on my priest since they tend to hex my paladin, the 3 bear pets are great offtanks having more hp and ac then my tank lol so again they are a great asset for buying me some time when the tank is feared hexed etc etc.

I whiped once sort of, only one hunter alive which was np since due to RAF he could summon the priest back for ress, reason for the whipe was getting feared into the mobs just before the Prophet.

All the bosses were shreded, now again my hunters are still in leather in some slots and their guns are lvl 30 green still except one who has a blue gun from Maraudorn, so no twinking what so ever, i honestly didnt remember ST being this easy, I had great fun and alot of good loot dropped, the last boss "Shade of Eriankus" could pose a problem, he put my paladin tank to sleep going for my other group members but again my 3 tenacity pets just took over tanking while the paladin were "sleeping".

I understand that the Outlands instances will pose a bigger challenge trying to 5box them and im looking forward being handed my arse ;)

I will try BRD perhaps tomorrow, i might skip it having done it a gazillion times helping gmates getting the onyxia key chain (or was it bwl attunement, dont remember).

Can't wait to hit 60 and head for outlands and Ramparts, i hope i dont become jaded having to do outdoor quests again to boost the xp inc, but i guess time will tell ;)
