DK + Mage or Priest?

To start with, i read the other thread where they listed what class combo's are good for dual boxing going through all combinations, but they didnt mention death knights there, so my question goes, Mage or Priest to go with a dk? DK will be my "main" and the priest/mage as a follower.. it's also possible i imght add a third account into the mix at a later time, but atm it's dual boxing that's up.

My views would be that Mages got nice dps while also haveing alot of CC to comliment to the death knight, while the priest would be ok dps while being able to heal the dk when the damage gets serious, it'll be a hybrid intended for both newbie pve (E.g soloing group quests) and pvp (Random bg's)

I'm very open minded for both, and ofc i'll have to learn to play these new classes (Only played holy paladin before).

So.. what way would YOU lean? And i please ask you not to say "Whichever one you like the best" because im here posting because i honestly can't decide between the two.

priest, can't spec for dmg or healing (since DK can't heal)Mark of Blood, etc etc. They have some limited self-healing. I'd put it somewhere better than potion popping but worse than drain tanking.

I'd go with a shammy, personally. Resto or Elemental as you prefer...even Elemental should have enough healin' to get you through a lot. Windfury totem could be amusing. Stoneskin over Strength of Earth, though, since you can pop Horn of Winter for the same effect.

With my DK so far, nothing stays upright long enough to do damage that he can't self heal. Coupled with a mage, it'd be a laugh fest up until you found something that hits really hard. With a shad priest I suspect that the incidental healing from both chars might actually be enough to make this combo work well. I will test this when I get the DK to lvl 63 to join my Shad Priest.
