Hey guys,
I've been playing WotLK since yesterday and already having problems.
I have done the first 3 zones now, and im almost level 72.
I cant find any more quests now around, the ones that i see are alllll collection quests.
Can anyone please help me? I have no clue where to go. I am standing here with my hands in my hair.
Thanks in advance,

I so feel your pain with my 5 elemental shamans. Im 72 and plan on heading to dragonblight. Nothing pisses me off more than opening quest guy and seeing collect 15 widgets. The bad part is these collection quest unlock non collection quest. Goodluck trying to do them. I tried one because it said collect 5 bones off these undead things. Wow that took forever. There were people everywhere and getting 5 on all the toons took me about 40 min. I swore never to do another collection. Some guys are doing instances.
I did nexus about 5 times and quit after I started wiping. I have no idea how I am wiping. I cant kill the last boss but the others were cake until my last 2 runs. It seemed like something changed with the instance. It's about time for me to try UK and see if thats easy. Most of these powerlevel guys are not looting. I need the money and mats for professions so I loot everything.

For me, Wrath has been very annoying, in that there are numerous collection quests or quests with limited resources.
This is compounded by having 5 toons for any of the gathering quests.
And further by having so many people competing for the resources.
Your options are to wait until it dies down a bit, which is the route I am taking.
Or to grind a bit, for example on mobs which can be skinned, or towards mining/herbalism nodes, all three of which will make you a ton of gold in the early stages of the expansion.
Instances are an option, but given everyone's relative lack of 70+ gear, without a tank you might be stuck on mobs until the first boss - still it is experience without competition.
You can try a higher zone, 5x the dps, even with resists can let you kill harder stuff.
I don't really like how blizzard designed the quests in Wrath, but if you persevere you will get there.

Although I have all my copies of Wrath purchased I have not installed a single one. I had planned to wait until things died down before I dove in. Besides my main group is only at level 65 by the time I ease myself to 70 I hope that things will have settled and I can enjoy at least starting a DK and experiancing the starting zone without a million zone messages of "man this is cool" or "this sucks!'
I am not happy to hear there seems to more collection quest those types of quest are so the easy way of getting out of designing some cool content.

Yeah i had less problems in Outlands. And i think i will play my DKs to 70 or whatever first, or atleast get level 72-73 rested. Maybe when the quests are updated on thottbot, you can just type in a collection quest and see the follow up if they are worth doing it.
I am not happy about this, i really was looking out for the expension a lot, but now it really fails. I wonder how the other big multiboxers like Aelli and Funkstar and Vyndree etc level, since i havent heard a complain from them yet on the forums.

i run 5 x elemental shammy's myself and i do not like woltk leveling prosess myself.
so far 2x70 3x68, i do not very much like the quests
and i tried to enter uppguard keeps just see if i could kill the trash atleast for levelign experience.
the only ting i saw in uppguard keep where lvl 70 eliite's with 35000 health.
i where unable to even trash in uppguard keeps.
i will go back to tbc and level up in instances there for a two to tre more levels and see if i get an easier time.
perhaps the answer for me atleast is to level up in instances i sure do not like the quests.

Currently, my team of five shamans is at level 71. I did many quests in the fjord and then turned to instances.
I play my solo-hunter now to familiarize myself with zones and future quests, while my shamans gather rested exp.
So basically my plan is to do very few good quests (if any) and stick to the "rested exp instance grind". Takes longer for sure but it's a lot less of a pain.

I stayed away from outlands when TBC came out and leveled a belf mage (mainly to see the starting area). After she hit 60, I took my main at the time to outlands, and it had died way down. I'm doing the same now with a Deathknight, just singleboxing, and --whoa-- are they fun. My shammies haven't even been logged on for a few days now, but I'll hit Northrend probably next week or two, maybe it'll have died down.

Right before WOTLK I finished up my pally and got him full Za/Kara/Badge gear... so in WOTLK im doing pal/3 ele/ 1 resto sham and probably going to stick to instances. I lvl slow as shit I was tryin to quest, but it's not working out so well I'm now 72. Probably going to grind the nexus or utgarde keep.

I've just been running instances as my 5 shaman group, I didn't even bother picking up any non-instance quests. Currently halfway through level 73 with about 12 hours of played time, not sure if thats good or not but the non rested levels seem to be progressing at about the same speed as I remember 60-70. UK is def a safe bet for exp, first boss drops a nice MH 233damage wep too if your guys are geared crappy like mine are... its an easy and fast clear for 5 shaman once you get familiar with the pulls/mobs/pathers, very first run took me over an hour to get to the last boss...a few runs later it was taking 20-25 minutes for a full clear (last boss I still sometimes wipe on and just reset when that happens) Nexus im in the process of learning atm, exp right now isn't as fast but change is good...so sick of UK now
Same shit, different server, for now im turning to my pally, lvl her up to 80, and leave the questing for rested xp (arena starts half december anyways so you can take 4 weeks if you really would want to, and then it sounds a lot less harsh, 4 weeks for 8 lvls (tnx tobben for letting me realise ;)).
Still its a pain when you see the front of mmo champion with guilds already completing the pve content , or on your own server when you see an achievement pass you by for killing raid bosses. Or even guildies that outlvl you and you look like a slow biatch :).
Mweh, the xp rate is too high and the amount of annoying quests also (though solo they are very enjoyable).
