Hello, I just came across dual-boxing.com 2 days ago and I have bought keyclone and read A LOT of the forums on here but yet I'm still not getting what it is that I want.... I'm wanting 2 accts. of wow going and to be able to see them both at the same time with no outside bars. I have downloaded the wow maximizer and I can get one BIG wow going but it also changes the size of everything else too until I exit out of warcraft. Odd huh? I can't really alt tab either because everything is so big I couldn't exit out of websites or navigate like normal. I have read about copying 2 wow folders onto my /c drive but when I started to download them.... noticed the timer was estimating over an hour, seemed like a long time to just copy a folder to a different spot but so be it. ANY help is greatly appreciated, still not sure what 2 classes I'll be working together but just wanting to get the screens set up for comfort first. With only one monitor I noticed I can't change my display options to horizontal span on my NVIDIA control panel.

My spec's are this...Dimension XPS 400, Intel Pentium D Processor 820 (2.8GHz) w/ Dual Core Technology... just copying this from my system properties (not the most computer savy lol) My monitor is Dell E207FP,Wide 20 Inch Flat Panel,20.0 Inch Viewable ImageSize,OptiPlex,Precision and Latitude

Again any help is appreciated, I love what you guys do and can't wait to jump in on the fun

first, make sure your wows are running in windowed mode. (in-game/video/windowed mode)

that should help get your wow maximizer the way you want. there are some threads that talk about the various settings.

using keyclone, you can set up a command for wow, configure a region layout, and then enable maximizer. once that is configured, launch your wow from the keyclone edit box on the main screen (to the right of the connect button)

this may help:

Thanks for the response, two questions tho, after reading the forum you posted in your response, I realized I don't know what command to put in or how to even write one... and for the programs part what would i put? just world of warcraft?

I do have the game running in windowed mode, I almost always do because of net searching when bored in org.

Thanks again for your time, Also, do I still need to copy the world of warcraft folder to my /c drive twice to get this to work? or am I ok with just keeping one warcraft folder in my /:c /programs/worldofwarcraft?

commands are just a description you give a 'command' you set up in keyclone.

did you read this post?

it is step by step...

i'm not sure how i can describe it in more detail

as for the number of wows installed... i run with just 1 installation directory. just be aware, any settings you think you are setting will probably get overwritten by the other clones on the box.. unless they are the same settings.

IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!

now to figure what combo to use lol

was thinking 2 of one class or a war / pal combo?

thinking war / pally combo would be great becuz non stop heals and warrior doesn't need mana so not much downtime with a healer :)

thanks again

no problem.

as for classes, i would normally recommend something simple to get your feet wet... like a couple of mages and a priest. the melees might be tougher. many people do locks for the dots.

of course, you would get the feel for the play style by the time you hit 10 or 20 (different powers == different key bindings / strategy/ macros)

bah running into one problem, I went with a warrior / hunter combo, works really well so far but need a macro to stop the auto follow, the problem is i'll assist and mark my target with the hunter becuz the warrior is my main.... well when i charge in i would have the hunter auto shoot to get things started... but the hunter just keeps following. trying to think of how to stop the auto follow :)

if you allow the movement keys to pass between your wows, and only use the mouse to move (right+left click/hold will move and steer).. then when you get to the area, just before you charge in, just push your left or right arrow once... that should drop your auto-follow

i normally just put the numlock on do-not-pass.. everything else i use in a fight
