I've been reading the wiki but still got a few bugs I need help with :(

So, I've been reading the wiki and all but there's still some bugs I need help with. I can barely get my focus macros to work properly, it either works one time or it doesn't. Also, the wiki doesn't say what macros to put on the main and what to put on the alts so here's what I've been doing.

Main Char - Auto Group alts
Alt Chars - here are the macros I have for them

/target focus
/follow
/assist

That's on key 1

Key 2: smite (I can't get the assist/smite/rez macro working right either

I know it says to use focus in macros, but that doesn't work right for me :(

Could someone please help me get this up and running so it's smooth? The wiki doesn't do a good enough job explaining it to me.

Also, I finish building my PC in 2 weeks. It's a C2D 3ghz, 4gb ram, 9800 gfx card I think I ordered. Will that handle 5 clients okish or no? Right now I'm just running 2 on a 2.4ghz, 1gb ram, 6200gt gfx card :(

first off, /assist assumes you do not have macros to help your target or your focus. if your macros have target=targettarget, or target=focustarget, having /assist is pointless.

second, make your main the focus.


third, use this to follow:

/target party1
/follow


fourth, use this to attack what your focus/main is targeting.
/cast [target=focustarget, harm, nodead] [] Smite


end.

I set my main as the focus but it still keeps messing up though. Where do I put the focus macro (main or alt or both), etc?

Hi Bryce,

It depends on whether you are using focus in order to swap mains at given times. If not, you only need the focus macros on your slaves.

For me, when I dual box I have macros as follows on both of my toons, so I can swap leader at any time and continue to use the same macros and casts:
/focus Toon1

/focus Toon2

/target focustarget
/cast Fireball

etc.

Ok thanks. One more question.

I can run 2 clients on my desktop and 1 on my laptop. Is there a way to share keyboard/mouse with my laptop so that I can run 3 clients/accounts? Or would it get to complicated for me :(
