i am definately a triple boxing noob and a lazy instruction reader at that. i tried to tripple box for the first time, set up the maximizer and the whole 9 yards, but 3 of my toons seem to go in 3 slightly different directions due to lag possibly. How do you get them to go insynch? is there some type of a follow macro or can someone link some instructions website on how its done.

Add your movement keys to the do not pass list, and have the slaves /follow your main. ;)

lazy instruction reader

That might be the absolute WORST habit you could have for multiboxing. Get used to reading instructions and such, it makes everything easier.

I agree. But I gathered that much about them by making a post in this forum where it states at the top:

"General Multiboxing Discussions (Not For Support ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=14540'))"

:P

just help me with 2 more questions for the love of lich king and i'll buzz off /pinky swear

1 picking up/turning in quests macro /script AcceptQuest does not seem to be working unless i noobed it as usual, please tell me how its done!

2 so melee characters such as DK unholy tripple boxed aren't possible to get very good at due to movement issues required of melle battle. am i correct?

1. use Jamba addon. saves you from writing any scripts.
2. deathgrip will probably solve most melee problems! lol

I love an addon called keep following. It will basically try to reset the follow command about every 3-5 seconds, so if they go astray, it will pull them back in line.

I put "/kfollow focus" in a macro and put "/kfollow stop" as the first line of my fighting macro.

In addition to the Jamba (which I haven't had time to tryout yet, there is a 2box Toolkit addon, which has an option to autoaccept quests. Basically you click on the questgiver and it takes the quest.

I'll second the use Jamba comment.

It makes following so much easier.
You can have a "strobe" option in the Jamba follow, where it attempts to push follow every "x" seconds.
You can enable it to follow as soon as combat ends if you choose.

I personally have follow after combat disabled, but have it strobe follow every 1 second when I do use follow.
When you switch leaders, use the command... /jamba makemeleader all, with all of your toons in the "all" group.
There's a command in jamba to follow the leader, I have this bound to the same key so pressing this has each toon tell all of the others to follow the current leader.
Between my wow macro to promote the new leader to party leader, my jamba setting that toon to master and keyclone putting that toon's PIP in the front, it works very well.

The wiki, stickies and search feature are all your friends.
In addition, if you post what you've tried, want and how its not working, the community rocks.
For the most part, we'd appreciate you reading/researching a little, and at least attempting to get something to work before asking for assistance.

Anything on a timer, I believe, is not allowed. I would head over to the WOW forums and ask in the addons forum if that one is okay.

Strange I never thought of that.... although I do not use strobe it is a timed and automated action......
