Do you put spacebar on the DNP list?
Sometimes when navigating I do need to jump, so that's why I put space bar on my pass-through list.
But then sometimes when chatting with friends, I do need to use space, so all my toons would jump up at the same time which looks funny.
Even worse, sometimes I chat while in combat (yes I do that >.<) because my master is on autoattack, and I just spam 1 nuke dps button until the mob is down. But when I press space, all the slaves would jump and interrupt the spell casting. Dumb I know, but sometimes I just forget that I'm in combat.

There are too many places where your alts will get stuck, and a simple jump is all you need to get them over the hump.
I catch myself chatting away too when grinding mob after mob. But usually I just wait until I am done with a pull to respond in guild.

I do not pass space bar but I do pass Shift-Space which is what I use for my clones.

The only key on my DNP is NumLock.
That's it.
If I want to chat, I hit my Pause key. Other then that, I use a lot of keybinds for play, and they're the same on all my toons.
I wouldn't want to not be able to use wasd, for my non-current main. Shift/Alt/Ctrl W, Shift/Alt/Ctrl A, Shift/Alt/Ctrl S, Shift/Alt/Ctrl D... are all keybound.
For questing, I've found it to be incredibly useful to be able to "/use Item Name" or to "/cast Astral Recall" without wasting a keybind on something simple like this.

i think there was a thread about this and also your clones talking with missing letters in random chat. The easyest way to solve it is to chat in bursts, like short coments and few word responses. Put the enter key on the "do not pass" list

Years ago, I decided on my hunter that I like having the spacebar to move back a step or two, so I moved my jump over to the down arrow.
I find this still handy in dual-boxing. Spacebar to move back a step or two, to bring a mob in melee range of my second toon, and the jump is still set to down arrow. On my second toon, spacebar is set to nothing...
Try it, you might like it! :D

I put spacebar on my whitelist. Its just way too useful - team gets stuck behind terrain, jumping to remove AFK flag, and even useful on some bosses (last boss UtK in Northrend).
I find instead when I multibox I try to avoid chatting as much as possible, I pretty much ignore all whispers and when I do have to chat I just use my Bypass mode (i have it bound to pause on keyboard).

I tried this and might try it again but I always forgot to hit pause.
