nice... 3 questions how much xp you getting per run, do you get any rep, and how geared are your guys?

I haven't counted how much per run, I get about 1300xp per normal mob, some mobs are double and non-elites are 2-300. No rep and my gear is nothing spectacular. A bit of badge gear, some rep gear and some crafted gear. About half blue half purple.

The graphic part is omen, pitbull, recount, bartender (+buttonfacade), aperture and fubar - and thanks, actually it used to look a lot sleeker, but now i'm too lazy to set it up properly, hehe.

When i did Nexus on my 5 shaman team i got 5.7k exp each mob, is it just me or is it more exp in that instance? Thats with rested. I got wtfpwned ofcourse hehe

It's just you ;-) Usually "tough" elite mobs give more xp than normal elite mobs. Proto drakes give 5.x kxp rested too - I did nexus yesterday and there were a lot of normal-mobs there (2.6 rested), but the first mobs in the instance was "tough" elite mobs. That mage-dude in nexus is a f.... pain btw. Not hard, just annoying!

Are you talking about the boss (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=26731) or about the mage dude trash mobs who ice-block your tank and sheep randomly?

Because I tried to fight Grand Magus Telestra and got owned badly - I barely came to 60% and then my healer died (priest with ~7k life buffed) .. any tips? :)

Because I tried to fight Grand Magus Telestra and got owned badly - I barely came to 60% and then my healer died (priest with ~7k life buffed) .. any tips? :)The trash mobs are no problems, its Telestra I'm talking about. I've yet to wipe on her, but she's (IMO) the most annoying boss in that instance - I think the key to getting her is prioritizing heals and be careful not to get too close to her at the 20% stage. I've uploaded a nexus video too.

Funny that she doesnt trow you up in the air untill the second phase while she practialy does it after 10 seconds and make me land then does it again... I got my quests done so i could be arsed to try more.. I might come back to get the achivment but i didnt like the instance at all..

She usually will throw me in the first phase, but tactics are pretty much the same. Back out, group heal, restart dps :-)

If I might ask in here, you got one resto shaman and two elemental shamans in your setup right? At least that's the info I got from your blog. The resto shaman still does damage when no heal is required did I see that correctly or do you just overheal your tank?

Yeah, 1 resto, 2 elemental. And yes, the resto shaman throws lightning bolts when there's no healing to be done :-) Earth shield is a blessing, I rarely need to heal unless theres 4+ mobs on me :-D

My group is lvl 72 (see profile) and only geared with greens. DK has complete cobalt- kit.
and got my arse handed to me by the trash mobs in Nexus :( ( the ones in the ice blocks)

Mental note to self: learn how to deal with CC

Had the same issues, these mobs completely killed my entire group after iceblocking my tank no matter what I did - no on heroic it's pointless even to think about CC since most mobs won't survive 4 critical lava bursts and 4 lightning bolts which land just after that ... ;)

Out of frustration I stopped doing instances almost completely and just leveled to 80, swapped my group setup from paladin, priest, warlock, mage, shaman to paladin, shaman x4 and et voila - easy mode activated. :>

by the way: have fun in utgarde keep, first boss is going to be a pain in the ass and the last one is going to kill your toons one by one (if seperated) with his throwing axe if he doesnt kill your tank before that and than slicing up your group while laughing his ass off ...

I hated it so much then, yes. :)
