Well an unexpected thing happened to me at gamestop at the midnight release. The guys at gamestop who I explained multiboxing to in depth when i preordered showed me some love by walking me to the front of the line to ceremoniously recieve the first 5 copies sold for the night. They clamied I was VIPx5 and sent me off a happy HAPPY customer.

Being as I pre-ordered for 7 of my 9 accounts they kinda did the samething, and then gave me one of the HUGE display boxes ~ I had to wait in line because I wasn't flashing that I pre-ordered that many, but when I was at the counter they were asking ALL sorts of shit they thought I was hawking them on ebay.

i also went game stop. i pre ordered one, and bought 4 more and they asured me i would get as many as i want.
i live in a small town in Portugal, and i never thought there could be so many geeks around me, as they don't use to talk in forums, or being noticed at all in the community scene.

so i went there, and there was at least 20 ppl waiting for 00. i only knew one guy previously, via another friend that told him i played wow. fun part was when 2 guys walk in, that work in the building next to mine, and i ask them: dont tell me u guys play wow?
yeah we play
where?
Grim Batol
i play there too, wich faction?
alliance
no sh!t ahahah, do u know a guy named konnichiwa?
yeah, the multiboxer? is it you? ahaha

they started to tell me how they loved to make AV with me :D
one of them happened to play before i played... i always saw him online, warrior with thunderfury since wow vanilla...and i always saw him near my work, everyday as well..only to find out he plays wow aha
fun times

i also met another guy that used to be in the same guild as i, that knew personally most of the guildmates.

wow releases are epic

That's a far cry from the garbage we get online. I guess it puts the lie to all the whining we get.

My GameStop's Credit Card Processing stuff was down (they claimed all GameStops had this issue, at least in the US) and their limit was $300. With my local sales tax minus the prepay price, I was at 297.84. It was very close. I got nothing special :(.

Also, the guy in front of us in line had his right arm amputated just below the elbow. I wanted to ask him how he played, if used any special devices etc, and what class but I didn't want to seem rude. I should have though, any thing that he used might be able to be applied to a boxing situation to make it easier for us too.

Yes, the credit card processing was also down at mine. They let me buy 5 copies, which was really nice! I thought they'd be bastards about it.

I thought they'd be bastards about it.same here, i actually bought 6 copies (1 for my roommate) and they had a limit of $100 per transaction, so they had to ring me up 3 separate times. The guys behind me were getting pretty antsy i think :P

I went to the gamestop near my office yesterday during lunch and they let me pay for all 10 copies :)

I would have asked for 10, but I didn't want to push my luck. I will only be using 5 accounts for a while. I won't play all 10 at once to level.

Ya, my gamestop also was not taking credit card orders but cash only. They did however call mine in on their phone due to it being $185 for 5 copies.

and what class

you could have asked that question without a problem. If he said anything bad, then you can be like, look all i wanted to know is when does your daughter get out of Jr.High school... i mean what class you played :P

HEH, the guy behind the counter didn't believe me when I said I was picking up 6 preorders. He really thought I was joking and until I showed him the receipt he wasn't buying it. The great thing was everyone was hanging outside the store in line and I just went inside because I was told I needed to show my reciept so they can give me a voucher for the copies so they can just hand them out at midnight. After I did this they told me the line was actually starting inside the store right next to the counter and there were only 2 people standing in it. I got some multiboxing love by being able to skip ahead of about 100 people. =8v)
