So, I'm missing my old faithful mod: Mr. Plow. I use Arkinventory to get my bags all into one view, but I can't find a replacement for Mr Plow to sort items. What you other boxers using to manage inventory across their toons? My biggest pet peeve now, without Mr Plow, is that I'll have new items drop into the middle of a bag and won't notice its there. WIth the auto sorting of Mr Plow all five toons' inventories looked clean and in sequence.

Seriously? I didn't see it updated anywhere. Read from the author at Curse that s/he is no longer playing WoW nor supporting the mod.
I'll check it out. Living without it has been hell. ;)

EngBags is what I use. Took a while to get it set up exactly how I wanted, but very configurable.

Wich one works best to help prevent me from having 17 incomplete stacks of item_001 that could be merged into 2 full stacks?

BankStack
Sorts- moves like stuff together
Stacks- moves incomplete stacks of items into one complete stack
Compress - Taking incomplete stacks of items from your bags to your bank or vice versa. (ie 2 netherweave cloth in your bags and 18 netherweave cloth in your bank combine to be one full stack).
I played around with this on some bank toons and was really impressed. I thought my bags were completed filled after sorting/stacking/compressing I freed up almost 10 slots. With the ammount of crap multiboxers loot and store away we shoudl have some sort of automated sorting/combining system. This addon works great for your bags/bank....not really the best on your guild banks. I was able to get it to sort an individual tab but not the whole bank.

I will give bankstack a try.. For bags I use a mod called bagmon. It's pretty nice.
