This was taken just before the Alliance hit our base....they had a nasty shock.
Out of view is two mages and a warlock getting ready to fear and frost nova all who came though the gate.
We still lost on reinforcements but fun times :D

So many choke points and LOS issues going into the horde base :( Not to mention the sheer number of NPCs that we come into contact with on the way in too.

Cross the bridge on the right hand side, head towards the big tank thingie, go around it, on the left side, head straight to the flag, kill the 4 npcs, cap...easy.
For alliance, once you get past the entrance, you have to twist and turn, avoid the pat, avoid the smith npcs, avoid the seargent yazzara standing right next to the door, as well as the npc on the other side of the path to her to prevent you swinging out wide, then go up the path where you can't even see what is waiting for you, before finally getting to the flag.
I'll take the straight and clear path into the enemy base any day of the week.

What they should have done is half fight you, half go past you. Then just keep running in and around the tower base.
I was playing AV last night and it was a stalemate. We had capped 2 towers and IBGY and horde had capped 2 towers but SHGY was recapped by us. With reinforcements even it came down to who could kill the enemy the most. Thank god Ally actually listened to me when I told them not to advance forward and to just fight between IBGY and TP, leaving a very short run back to the frontline from ressing, making our frontline bigger than Horde's and so we ended up winning by 30 reinforcements :)
And got me 250HKs closer to the 25k mark lol.

I'll take the straight and clear path into the enemy base any day of the week.sure, but if you cough while capping the alli flag, you aggro an entire 40-man raid of NPC's. it's WAY easy to stealth ninja horde flag, not so much the alli flag (i've tried both numerous times!)
