View Full Version : Suvega wrath guide is now available. Come geets it. (Multi-Multiboxer Blog)

released in sections, you can view it here (it's a big banner on the right you can click):

weMultibox.com ('weMultibox.com')

It's really raw, its basically the raw data. Trust the order, not the numbers :). Other then that, I'll be releasing zones a couple behind where I'm at.
Enjoy :)

While your at the site, make a blog. <3 :)

God fursphere, I figured it deserved it's own thread, like

But nah, you gotta call me out on my shameless plug, and my useless bump :P

Ok fine, ninja edited the title, and I figure anything I can do to get people to come make blogs the better.

Btw, why no blog fursfy!?!? Do you not like Jen and I? /cry.

I'm not much a blogger. Post whore? Yes. Blogger? Not really. Tried a few times, ended up neglecting them too much.

Maybe copy some good posts over every once and a while? The idea is we do all the hard work, and the blog entry field looks exactly like a post box.....
which from your 4k+ posts I'm sure you're familiar with ;)

Rawr, Silverlight :cursing:

In all seriousness though, thank you very much for the time put into it. I'm sure it will be quite helpful for a lot of us.

Also, I like your blog :D. Wish I'd known about it sooner :).

I really appreciate this guide - thanks for the effort, and who cares that it uses Silverlight :)

Thanks again.

[The Delicate Sound of Thunder] and [Lightning Infused Relics] @ explorers league... They're in the guide, but i absolutely have no clue how those can be Multiboxer friendly. Tried them for more then 30 minutes now still without succes. around number 60 in your list

All your characters are in constructs which makes NPC's friendly. But they can 'taunt' you and then you have to bluff them back on the same character that got taunted. So you have to monitor your 4/5 characters while not being able to follow and working your way up over a maze of scaffolds. Farming mobs would probably go faster :(

So some small tips here and there could really be usefull, because i often have no clue what to do when i read the guide and the questlog. Besides that, it's still usefull :)

I am unable to see the actual guide itself. I've downloaded the needed software from Microsoft, registered on the new site and when it comes up it keeps telling me that I need to contact Suvega. Sent a request through the new site for Suvega to look into the matter and haven't heard back yet.

The site will be undergoing additional upgrades on Nov 22nd and should be down for 30-60 minutes. You may have caught us during some software upgrades on the server that should have only taken about 15 minutes to complete.

In any case, Suvega got lazy about releasing the last bits of the guide (he was rush-leveling to 80) so I took the liberty to do it myself. All of the zones should be available. I'm taking a bit slower leveling but I'm also trying to run TourGuideRecorder as I follow through Suvega's guide -- so once I'm done with that we'll see if we can get TourGuide files available for those who prefer addons (like I do).

You'll need to fully refresh the page to get the updated guide sections. If you're having problems, contact Suvega... and if Suvega is lazy and forgets to check his emails, ping me and I'll punch Suvega IRL. ;)

No probs -- I made a few mistakes and deviated from the guide in a few places, but hopefully it'll be follow-able and anyone who wants to use my tourguide files can just let me know if something needs to be manually edited. I started the guide as a just-barely-dinged-68 group so it'll be a full tourguide experience from 68-80 (both starting zones).

Just wanted to express my thanks to Suvega and Vyndree for this. I usually follow Jame's leveling guide, but I definitely find this more tuned to our play-style :D

Thanks for sharing this with the community and keep up the good work!

I'll use this in the mean time. Thanks again!

Just found out that scroll bars aren't working in the page on Vista x64 and IE7.

Edit: and it's for alliance side.....dang it.

Vyndree

I'm using Vista/IE7 and I haven't seen any problems... Do you mind taking an SS for me?

As for the TourGuide files... I am uber slow and just hit Grizzly Hills. :P But I'm using TourGuide Recorder so I should have all the files done straight from 68-70 doing both starting zones.

I'm also trying to weed out some of the icky-er quests or at least mark them as "do on your main only".

This is Suvega's baby, I just really like TourGuide and have lots of alts so I'm recording it mostly for my own sake. ;) I suck at directions so I rely too much on the coords and I don't want to have to stumble around again.

You can start in either starting zone -- doing both starter zones is actually helpful, imo -- lots of nice rep and lots of XP.

I started with Howling Fjord from Suvega's advice since he said it was the worse of the two zones, so it'll feel like an upgrade to move to Borean. ;)

Rough first-run TourGuide Guides ('http://wemultibox.com/forums/showthread.php?p=389#post389') for Suvega's Guides from level 68-80.

Do BOTH starting zones, or you're going to run out of quests since I haven't completed Icecrown yet. I'm going to follow the guide with my 2nd group to make sure there are no errors, but if you see anything feel free to PM me.

great guide! wish I could figure out how to use it! am i doing something wrong? I followed the instructions and extracted the guide to :

\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\TourGuide\TourGuide_Alli ance\suvega

But when I try and select the guide, it only shows me the default list of guides!

Is simply extracting the contents to \World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\TourGuide\TourGuide_Alli ance\suvega enough, or do I have to modify some config files for tourguide to see the northrend zones in the suvega\*.* folder?

Thanks for your help.

There's a file under \World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\TourGuide\TourGuide.toc that's included in the .zip file ('http://wemultibox.com/forums/showthread.php?p=389#post389'). All it does is say "hey, pick up the files in the suvega folder!".

I opted to put suvega's guide files in a seperate folder in case TourGuide gets updated to support Wrath for solo leveling. I don't want the files to get re-written.

You could technically edit it yourself if you don't want to use the zipped file:

TourGuide_Alliance\Guides.xml
TourGuide_Alliance\suvega\Guides.xml
TourGuide_Horde\Guides.xml
TourGuide_Neutral\Guides.xml

I fixed the auto-update bug with Howling Fjord this weekend (I literally have to play through the guide to find all the issues and fix them). I'll try to have that uploaded once I get home from work.

Does anyone have or is this available in just a text based list form w/o having to install Silverlight, or install WOW mods?

The link is broken in the first post.
Anyone know if this is hosted elsewhere?
Or anyone have a copy?

Souca

It was a SilverLight site, so it would require you to have the server it was hosted on to actually have access to it. So the answer is likely no, there isn't access to it if the link is dead.

That said, the guide was aimed at being one of the first MB guides for the release of Wrath. There are likely some other guides created using TourGuide that are now available since Wrath has been out for over a year.

Hope this helps.
