wow servers and website down?

The longer the game is down, the more flooded the website gets. According to the log in screen, they were supposed to have another update up by 7:30 PM EST but it's a little after 8 with no news. Apparantly, they are having in game mail issues.

they're becoming more like small town cops, small accident involving 1 lane of a 2 lane highway so they block both lanes rather than just pushing the wreck off the road

I don't blame them. I would go with the known flame mail from all, most will forget and live with...rather than deal with the thousands of clowns submitting tickets because they lost 10's of gold transferring who knows what item from their bank/AH AND then deal with the thousands of clown who had to run their toon all the way from outside org in to RFC because the server was reset in the middle of their epic 3 man run.

I do give them a check minus for being too cheap to fork up overload BW cash for moments just like this when I'd rather be surfing their website while I wait.

Surely its better for them to take the relms down and try to fix them, rather then leave them up and be complained at about how they should have fixed it

Server maintenance has cut out Oceanic prime time playing every tuesday for the last few years...QQ moar lol. But seriously, I would prefer they fix the problems than bring up a dodgy server. Small problems tend to lead to bigger problems. At least after maintenace ends (around 2am for me), anything past that is while I'm sleeping or at work. But as I said, for the last few years, I have missed out on at least 6 hours of playing time every tuesday.

How many hours do you guys miss out on every week? Does maint happen usually while you are at work or sleeping or what?

Ugh... I am so frustrated right now... I lose my RAF tomorrow and have my warlock group at 47. I passed out around 3am PST (2 hours before servers went down) and I was going to get them to 60 today. But now I can't. And I don't even know for sure what time I lose my RAF tomorrow, otherwise I'd either be more or less frustrated. And chances are, if I call and talk to Blizz about it tomorrow they'll just say "well, sucks for you. hope you enjoyed the down time. :)"

Sucks for me because I had the day off for the holiday. Been waiting patiently all day to get on but I don't think I'll be able to. No big deal, I got my four druid team to 60 yesterday and boosted a pally to 60 too so I'd say I was able to get quite a bit done this weekend.

It seems to get worse every week well hope fully it will be back at 9pm central as they say but the way its been going to very likely but fingers crossed i wanted to make 55 on my pali and priest combo tonight and it would be nice if they would credit everyone more than the 3 days they have given us for these issues how many people are losing the triple exp because of it lol.

Tuesday is one of my 2 days off a week, and Tuesday nights I have one of my 2 or 3 classes (depending, sometime I do 2, sometimes 3 a semester) So servers are always down until around 2PM-3PM, then I need to be out of the house by 5:30pm in order to make it to my 6:30pm class on time. Leaves little time to play on tuesdays. It's a treat when they only do like, server restarts instead of the regular all day work they do :P

I hope you checked the other threads - if your account mgt page says "good until 11/12" it could be 11/11 4pm PST (ie 11/12 gmt) - ie past due... hope for you you learned from our experience of us loosers who got screwed by having the 11/4 expiration first problems...
