I'd just like to highlight how amazing Burning Crusade was for WoW. I'd say the past 2 years were easily much better than the first 2 years of wow and I hope Wrath keeps making the experience enjoyable.

So in memory of BC, share a memorable moment :)

Right out of the get go which we take for granted now is the ability to fly around. It gives you such freedom and is a huge fun factor :)

Well, aside from the multiboxing I've done, what I enjoyed the absolute most (since about this time a year ago, I didn't play more than a few hours a week), was five-man content (a lot of it) with RL friends. Nothing special to most, but it was a big deal to me since I had moved and hadn't seen them in a long time.

I don't think i want to move on. I didn't like the 3.0 patch, where a warrior can come in and aoe the crap out of my 4 shaman :( . Altho befor the patch when i was lvl at lvl 60 i was nucking lvl 70 that was fun, but i guss i will suck it up and get ready to move on.

The PvP system alone made BC 1000x better than the original game. It was fun being able to strut around with the highest title, glad in this case(not on my shammys :P), without having to play 50 hours a week.

My favorite PvP changes:

Daily PvP quest.
AV - Reinforcements, Report AFK (20+ afkers at 3 AM kinda sucked), simplifying (remember how many random NPCs you used to have to kill?), and moving the horde base.
Resielience - My first TBC character was a priest. Without this little stat I wouldn't have been able to break 1800 let alone 2300.

*Edit*

Forgot to mention, not having to get 40 people together for a raid = win.

When I first got my flying mount I immediately flew straight up to see how far I could go. A couple minutes later I was thinking to myself, Woah it's just going to keep going, and then it crashed my wow client.

I have yet to try to fly that high again.

Hmm...Highlights in BC? How about the 5 different guilds I was in in just over a year all disbanding because of emochild alliance drama?

LOL Well I guess that's just may own personal bad memories of BC. Hopefully horde side will be a bit better.

A few things I really did like about BC was the introduction of Heroics, Terrific Quest rewards comparded to Classic WoW, and the look of all the new zones is far and beyond better looking then Classic as well. That being said however Wotlk kick's BC's ass in just about everway :D I'm really looking forward to the xpac.

There are several things I'll remember:

Walking through the Portal on opening day and having everything lag all to hell and going WTF are all those demon guys at the bottom of the stairs.

Seeing the Ring of Blood quest for the first time and the sweet lvl 65-66 items.

Getting crushed by lvl XX Fel Reavers in HFP.

Watching my Pre-BC MC/BWL epics get replaced by blues and greens on the first day.

Highlight of BC for me was all the 5-man quests in non-instanced areas.

i guess my best memory in the game was being part of a guild that entered and cleared kara first, at that time it was a big deal, now i can solo it with 5 or 6 people lol.

before I started multiboxing and had 3 70's, I was able to controll the entire outlands herb market, had over 13k gold easy. Got epic flier on all 3, now just to get epic fliers on my box groups ><

I like the feel of immense personal power that BC finally offered, even in the face of content balanced to the new gear. Putting full sets of epics within the range of a non-raider was a significant improvement in BC. While I'm not a casual player by any but really hardcore standards, I am a devout raid-hater and love that the game no longer stops at the Molten Core portal (or the gate to Karazhan). Blizzard is learning! I think WotLK is going to be even closer to the game as I want it to be.

I definitely agree that TBC was much much better than vanilla WoW.

If i had to recall my best memory from TBC it would be getting flight form (long time druid main here).

My biggest regret is not getting to see more of the dungeons (many of the TBC dungeons ive seen maybe 1 or 2 times, not enough time to explore.. hoping the 5 boxing will allow me to devour them all at my own pace).

I think the coolest part was I went from:
Not thinking I had a chance in arena - to kicking butt.
Not thinking I could multibox a level 70 instance - to doing it.
Not thinking I could multibox a level 70 heroic instance - and doing it
Thinking, no way in hell could anyone possibly multibox Magister's Terrace - and doing it.
Thinking it's impossible to multibox heroic Mr. T - and doing it!
Thinking Kara is impossible to bring 5 shaman to - and doing it!
Thinking there is no way I could bring 5 shaman to ZA - and doing it!
And last, but not least, thinking it's impossible to multi-box 5 shaman in BT. And killing 8/9 bosses.

So if nothing else, everyone on the DB has tought me, nothing is impossible for the multiboxer.

I loved BC.. think its one of the best expansions in a mmo ever.. not as good as planes of power was to eq.. but good:) Best times in BC... first time exploring zanger and other zones... great to see new things:) And first time multiboxing BC instances was a blast:)

As for the future... i was in the beta awhile back.. and came to a quick conclusion that wow holds no happiness for me anymore.. cancelled my accounts awhile back and havn't had one desire to go back:) But i do miss you guys sometimes:(

Getting attuned to stuff only to have attunements dropped a couple months later. Running kara a 100 times before badges dropped off the bosses.

One of the greatest prot warrior/pally trinkets. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27529

I seriously think that level 80's will go back and farm this thing b/c it allows you to do so many fun things.

I LOVE THE NEW INSTANCES..... how so many have a quick run to the door. Anyone remember hearthing out of soooo many instances because it was such a long run? Maraudon anyone?

Hmm... my favorite memories of BC...

*Listening to all the new music for the first time. I am sort of a music fanatic and the new scores instantly drew me in. :)
*Stealthing into Silvermoon the night/morning BC came out on my rogue with my newly acquired Netherwhelp as my companion -- only to realize I was being stalked bc ppl saw a Netherwhelp flying by itself :whistling:
*Trying out Ramparts for the first time with 2 friends the night/morning BC came out and getting our asses royally handed to us lol
*The day after BC came out running around and getting all the FPs in Outlands on my 60 rogue. It was a lot of fun being one of the first people in Netherstorm! Typing /who Netherstorm and seeing: Bridgetliz, 60 Rogue being the only toon there was exciting :D
*And of course, no one can forget getting rolfstomped by the rollerskating Fel Reavers (no, not the normal ones, I mean the ones that got bugged out and a few times and were rollerskating all over Hellfire  )

Ah, BC was so much fun, now to get my 2 boxing teams to 70 and continue the venture into Northrend! I cannot wait :)

I must have killed him 100+ times and never got that damn thing. 8(

The start of BC was great for me! New zones.. flying mounts! But i had a period of painful times when my guild ( I was co-gm ) started falling apart. I left for LotR for a few months. When I came back, raiding just was never the same for me. So i started leveling alts and multiboxing the old school way ( alt tab ftl ) And ran into some guy that made me say "WTF?" How are you controlling all 5 at the same time?" He told me to come here and my life has not been the same.

Since i learned a better way to multibox, BC came alive for me. I FINALLY ran instances and did not have to wait for people to get back from AFK or DCing..on and on. I Love it! I am so excited about WotLK!

I just wanted to say to the OP, Thank You and this great community for helping make WoW a better gaming experience for me. And even if i do not get Blizcon tickets next year, I will be at the dinner!

This has to be one of my fondest memories from BC: I made a PVP video on my resto-specced, elemental-geared (singleboxed) shaman. Sure, I sucked at it, but I had a blast. No damn gear differences, it was all about which classes trumped which, and how you used your abilities.

God, I loved BC PVP...

While my most "epic" and entertaining moments were, by far, back in 40 man raids, my favorite BC moment was the day I got my first flying mount. Could just be nostalgia.

My favorite part was the rush to 70 in the first week(I only played 1 character then), being apart of the first few people to experience new content (I pretend beta testers don't exit), the rush to be at the top of raid progression, and the change that turned av into a 20 hour "let's stand in the field of strife and punch each other hurrr" match into a race to accomplish something. I appreciate the badge system (except the last wave of gear went overboard) for all of the victims of random number generators, but most the majority of the instances were just caves or tunnels with zero life in them, and most of the zones felt like completely separate universes who only know that the other zones exist because they're placed next to eachother(original wow was terrible at this too).

Of course I gave up on raiding only a few months in (and created a system of labels for all the guilds I dealt with) and then became ye olde 5 boxer.

My favourite part was finding a group of decent people to play with among the millions of terrible people. And I don't mean terrible at the game I mean terrible people :D
