Hello,

I'm dualboxing pally and priest at the moment, and I just completed a quest to kill 10 mobs. When I turned in, the pally got 2250 xp, but the priest got only 750. They're standing right next to each other and they are surely linked. They've been getting triple xp fine except just this one. Is this supposed to be a bug?

Also, the pally did his level 10 quest, so he's a bit ahead from the priest. Now, when pally is level 14 and priest is level 13, each kill gives the pally MORE xp than the priest. Suppose this is a level 11 mob which is green to pally but yellow to priest, shouldn't priest gets more xp? Again, is this a bug? It's kinda annoying because the gap is wider and wider every time the pally dings before the priest.

I had this happen to me several times while leveling up my dual shammies. I wanted to keep them as close as possible, so I would normally just drop the group and do a turn in with the one that was ahead. I think it is a wierd lag spike or something. Didn't happen but maybe 3-4 times on my way to 60 though...

I've run into the quest thing a few times and the best I can figure it occurs when the quest your turning in is near the minimum threshold for xp.

Say a quest is green from level's 10 to 12, if the quest will ding one of your characters to 13 it then becomes trivial to that character and since RAF isn't supposed to give xp if a quest / mob is trivial to one of the linked players then the lower player loses out on the bonus. Unfortunately the threshold cap can occur even if the quest remains green to the higher level.

The safest bet is to avoid turning in green quests when you're close to leveling, that should help mitigate the problem.

If one of your characters starts falling behind either solo kill with them, or if they're really far behind and you want them to even up, turn in the quest with the lower level one, then drop the higher level one from group so they only receive the standard xp reward.

The higher level (based on the level, not amount of XP within a level) character gets more XP when in a group and killing mobs [and groups get more XP than solo]. It is the opposite for quests. Correct me if this is wrong, but this is what I believe to be true. So, were you're toons the same level? If they were, I never noticed this....my toons are ALWAYS out of sync due to me running five different classes (i.e., class quests...at least I assumed as much until now).

If your toons were not the same level the amount of experience given will differ (AFAIK). I usually hand in the lower level quests first (If I have multiple quests done to hand in) to get the most XP possible. Of course, I take 3 played days to level to 60 so ask some of those that only take 1 day (which I still don't know how it's done) =)

The higher level (based on the level, not amount of XP within a level) character gets more XP when in a group and killing mobs [and groups get more XP than solo]. This is a new information to me. I thought because the mob is green for one toon and yellow for the other one, then the lower level toon should get more. Ok so it's not a bug then.
