Hi,

I've heard of people using X installations, but loading all of the content off of 1 single install. Apparently this loads things alot faster ( My 4 shaman cannot handle Shattrath). If anyone has any details on how you set this up, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Install WoW once.

Launch the program X number of times.

That is how it works. If it will be faster for you or not depends on your systems and what your bottleneck is.

This was helpful for me as well Does Symlinking really make a difference? ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=142345&highlight=#post142345') Not symlinking is like chocolate without peanut butter. Why bother?

Yup, that's what I'm running. Vista 64 Ultimate.Jeez - well that was easy. Why in the world do people run 5 installs at the same time then? =o

Another question: is there an easy way to port settings over between installs? Setting up my UI again for the other 3 shamans = sad times

Copy and paste the addon folders between them. You can do the same thing with macros.
