Buying ATI Radeon card

Today I plan on buying an ATI Radeon card to replace my Nvidia card that seems to crash often. I'm curious if this is going to cause maximizer settings to change in keyclone. With the Nvidia card I am using 'span' and am not sure if ATI has the same. I'm sure I'll find out soon but wanted to see if anyone has made this change and if there were any problems encountered.
