No guarantee this will work after Wrath goes live but it works for now and blizzard has let us use the beta client for expansions in the past..

All you need is a fully patched Beta client and live client.

Backup the following files from your Beta folder

wow.exe
\data\enUS\realmlist.wtf (Your folder name will be different if you have non-us version of course.)

Copy these two files from your live folder to the beta folder.

Delete your \WTF and \Cache\WDB folder from your beta install if you want to download all your macros and keybinds from live.

If you are going to update multiple machines copy your beta folder to the other machines at this point. If not Login and you can play using the beta client on live now and hopefully continue to do so after the expac goes live.

You might attempt to search the WoW Beta Forums for a thread about the Beta Patch mirrors (or just check here ('http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=9023602703')). Here's the rub - you have to have a WotLK account before you can even play the game, so just get a boxed copy so you can upgrade your account while installing the expansion.

I can confirm that this worked, but won't use it for too long. The error reporting for beta is still visible.
