Hi there :o)

So I just found out about multiboxing as I was dying again with my warrior how great it'd be if I'd have a healer all times with me... Up to this point I would have said that already 2 would be kickass... Well, now I'm more into 5-boxing :o)

Anyways, here's the deal: Currently I can't afford having 5 accs running :o( however, I'd love to try it out with RAF/Testaccounts.

So I was wondering how to setup everything.
Here's my hardware:
1 Laptop (intel dual T2330 1.60 ghz, 1 gb ram, on-board gfx
1 "crappy" Laptop where wow should work 1x low setting and res.
1 PC 2.6 amd dual, 3 gb ram, gf 6600 gfx
1 "even crappyer laptop" for "side reference stuff" - depending... (wow won't work on this one)
on all of them I'm running XP

this is all I have right now, so what would you guys say wouold be the best setup? Can I do it with what I've got or do I need to get some better hardware?
Also can I run it on 3 pcs and use 2 screens for all of them?

And: should I be 2-boxing (until I can afford 5-boxing) or would you recommend 3-boxing?

WoW runs on just about anything, so if you have 4 PCs/laptops I think you should be able to run 4 clients... with the minimal graphical settings, I don't think it should be a problem. You do need to network them together though, and you'll need to buy a copy of keyclone for each... or use octopus.

The problems would start when trying to switch from one to the other... you can't easily move displays from one laptop to another, so if your main dies, you're pretty much stuck with manually having to go to antoher laptop to control your chars from their (switch leader using a macro, etc).
