Well I just got my first team to level 70 and its actually my first ever level 70 so I'm not really sure what to do from here on. My group is 5 shamans mostly focusing on PvP.

WOTLK is only days away but I'm considering waiting a bit to avoid the rush and actually see of the level 70 content.

The few options I've thought of are:

- Grinding reputation ie lower city for mace but may be rendered useless/replaced with quest wotlk gear?

- Grinding honor for S2 gear but once again may be replaced by wotlk gear instantly.

- Doing dailys for money, not much else. Although I'm not really sure where to start with these.

- Run instances in attempt to gear up a bit and move on to heroics. The only instance I've done much of is Sethekk Halls at 68-70 which I didn't find all that easy despite what people have said. I haven't tried anything since I picked up the PvP blues.

For now I'm just doing battlegrounds which is quite fun and seems fairly safe too as I can buy S2 gear or just save the honor (not gonna get anywhere near cap)

I guess I'm pretty much after any suggestions on the best way to quickly get geared up enough to look at heroics/kara and maybe wotlk instances to avoid the huge release crowds.

My server is the most packed Oceanic server, and I remember from TBC release that after 2 days there weren't many people in the starting zone. Considering that There are only maybe 10-20% more people who play wow now, and Blizzard made two seperate starting zones (they have learned from their mistakes) with different areas for horde/alliance in each zone, I'd say it would still only be packed for 2 days max. During this time, I would suggest lvling in the instances. No one is going to stick around the higher end of Outlands.

So before the expac, just go have some fun, don't worry about gearing for heroics, do dailies for money, save honour for lvl 80.

Do some AV, to get to know how you can make yourself usefull or do whatever you like. The big advantage atm is that there are hardly any full S4 people playing BG's atm because they allready got they 75k honor banked and are just waiting for wotlk atm.

Dailies at Quel'danas. In the middle of shattrat there are a few portals, 1 corner for horde, 1 for alliance and one with a dreanei standing in front of a portal leading to the Isle of Quel'danas. Go there, pickup all the dailies, read the questlogs and farm some nice money. The dailies really are simple. Check wowhead comments if needed.

Do some instances just for fun :D

In Caverns of time in tanaris, you could do the Quest that requires you to do Durnholde and Black morass, so you can teleport to there. The quest is picked up inside Caverns of Time.

definitely do instances for fun, run all the level 70 instances and you'll have a much better idea of how you'll handle things in the expansion

1.Do some instances, mostly for fun, but also more importantly to have a chance to work on macro/keybinds and the placement of them in an dungeon enviroment. Grinding is super easy as all you need to do is spam one spell and most things are dead before they even get to you and doesn't really push you to iron out some of the details like healing or cc or interupts and such.

2. Buy some powerade, wait 4 more days and get ready to do it all over again :P
