For anyone getting ready to use their gift leveling of RAF:

The gifted levels count as earned levels for the purpose of granting RAF levels. So if account 3 and 4 both gift 27-30 levels to account 2, then you have another 27-30 levels that you can grant to account 1 along with the normal 27-30 levels you would be able to gift normally. I did not think it would work origionally, but I tried because it couldn't hurt anything, and I eneded up getting another toon to 58 because of it.

Again, this could be common knowledge, but I thought iI'd throw it out here.

Summary: RAF granted levels count as earned levels when granting levels to another character.

P.S. My druid 5 box is at level 58, and I now have a 57 paladin and a 57 mage...woot.

Nope, at least as far as I'm concerned, this isn't well-known. I just discovered it last night myself, as I had assumed that granted RAF levels did not themselves count as earned levels for the purpose of further level granting. Pretty cool.

I've tried to verify if this was the case in at least 4 different posts or threads. So thank you for confirming this. Anyone else have similar experience?

I assumed it was plausible and from a coding standpoint simpler if receiving a granted level could generate levels to be granted to another toon.

It's easier to code in "ding level -> increment the counter of grantable levels" than set up a check to see if that ding was earned by xp turnin or by grant.

I have links of Buddies vet acct >A>B>C>D, which means that my buddy and my acct A are likely to fill up with L60s pretty quick, while D and C fill up with L31s.

yes its been discussed many times before. =P

now all we really need is a good way to keep track of all grantable levels. you know, if blizz can just give us a window or even something in our character tab, under currency, or heck, even give us a script to check our grantable levels.... that would be awesome.

Interesting, but the levels would have to be granted to another character on a trial account and I thought that could not be done?

no one said anything about trial accounts. =0

Well what I mean is the account that WAS a trial account and new has to grant the levels correct? So you can grant levels to other RAF accounts? Or just the veteran account that invited you in the first place?

Parent Account that sent out the RAF Invitation (A)
RAF'd account, invited by A (B)
RAF'd account, invited by B (C)

Levels C gains results in boosts on B
Levels C gains results in boost on A.

If you had set up A as the inviting account for B and C, then this doesn't work.
