Can someone please point me in the right direction here. I know it's been answered, but I can't seem to find it on the board or wiki.
In Vista; How can I install a 2nd copy of wow?
I already have 1 copy installed. When I try to install a 2nd copy, I only get the options for uninstall and play.
Can I simply rename the 1st folder or app?

Take a look at this page:
PowerShell script to create symbolically linked (mklink) copies of WoW ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=4854&pageNo=1')
having 2 wow directories just increases hard drive activity, which can cause a lot of system lag in large cities. symlinking helps alleviate this a bunch.

Nice. I'll have to try this.
I was hoping to just optimize performance a little. I have a quad processor machine and wanted to designate 2 to one wow and 2 to the other wow.
