Please ban them. Trade chat and wow forums are already full of it. Can we get a break here?
Lock edit:
<3 how Fur thinks he is Ellay. ^^

Political ads... ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=15877')
I think your question has already been answered in that thread...ads =/= threads dude. That thread is an example of what i'm talking about, it went into some political discussion over gay rights. I'm not going to read through shit like that.
The ads are one thing. We need them to keep the site up. The threads are generated by people in this community and cause more problems than anything. You are PotP in the one you linked...

Well, it is in the off topic section. If you don't want to read it, don't click on it.
And I think thats one of maybe two we've had? The election is over now, so I doubt we'll have anymore. That's why I have you on ignore. So if I don't want to read what you have to say, I just don't click. ^^

Last I checked this forum doesn't cost you a dime. Have to keep this site running somehow, and true the election is over so there wont be anymore of those. You are still going to have ads and will just have to get used to them. Cant expect Ellay to pay out the wahzoo to keep this site up and running ad-free.

As sick of the political stuff as I am, I'd still have to agree if it's in the appropriate section (ie offtopic), if you don't want to read something don't click on it :-/

Seriously grow up. Politics are important. Therefore it's important to talk about it. Why would you want to silence anyone from talking about politics? Are you a Nazi? :whistling:
It is difficult having an intelligent and respectful conversation between two opposing ideas, but that does not mean we shouldn't try.
Be an adult if you don't want to talk about something don't.

I'm not talking about political ads. If you look above, I clearly state that.
Read before you post, imo.

Be an adult if you don't want to talk about something don't.Why don't you take it to a political discussion forum then? Some of us come here to get away from that kind of crap.
Here's a good spot for you.

How hard is it for this site to get sponsors? Like would blizzard chip in some money? We do focus on doing everything legal and this is enforced. Plus a couple blues, gms, and other blizzard staff say that they box. Just a thought.
BTW i hate politics, i know that they have to happen to make the world go round like other stuff. I know a lot of people love politics too, but also a lot of people love sports. I'm a strange guy cause i don't like either. All i know is Al Gore invited the internet and that Roger Cleams has a mean field goal kick. Yes, i know that this isn't what the topic is about, but just my 2c.

1000g says the OP is Skuggo.
Where are all these annoying political threads you speak of? I must be missing something.
I don't think political topics should be banned from the Off-Topic section.

I don't think political topics should be banned from the Off-Topic section. Did you Vote? ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=15941')
Political ads... ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=15877')
Read the threads. They are causing negative effects here, imo. I've already been called a Nazi over the fact that I don't think they have a place here.
hmmm, unlocked. Change of heart Fur?

This post by: Fursphere (Today, 10:12am) is hidden, because you ignore user Fursphere. Best option ever. You can just assume the post has some ignorant comment or some type of power trip statement, but you don't have to see it unless you click.
The worst part is that I can still see what he says if I am not logged in. Someday there will be an option to just delete him from the internets.

Off topic = anything goes...
... as long as people do not:
- insult each other
- break the law
- harm the honest MB-community.
And, yes, I may answer to this thead even though I am not Ellay.
Thanks.

I regret to inform the community that a certain friend of ours is on a temporary vacation.
In the future, it's best not to repeatedly and publically mock multiple moderators and members, disregard the rules of the community, and demand that free speech be denied in a "anything goes" off-topic forum.
If you feel a post is inappropriate, the correct response is to report that individual post via the yellow "report" button. QQing publically to a specific person (Ellay) rather than PMing him privately (spam) when you should've clicked "report" is your own problem. Turning the thread into a childish battle of namecalling is certainly not the process that will bring you to the correct answer. And, I can tell you, the answer to your question is "No". If it's not miscategorized or against the forum rules, we will not censor people unnecessarily. If you're not adult enough to not click on a thread you don't want to read, then let me help you take a vacation from the forums since you can't protect yourself from your own actions -- at least I can protect others from you.
Anjuna, I hope you learn a valuable lesson -- if you don't play nice, it doesn't matter if you put moderators on ignore. You won't be able to block anyone if you're forced to be anonymous.
