After spending 20 bucks, wasting a good deal of time reading tutorials, watching videos, going into the wiki. I proceeded to install the software. What a disppointment. Its buggy as hell. I simply cannot add a new region to my screen no matter how much I press the "+" button.

After hours of frustation i manged to download some graphic profhiles wich at first seemed to have helped, but now When i try to load 2 wow instances Keyclone refuses to name them differently although they are named wow1 and wow2 and the comand to load goes "wow1;wow2" So whenever i log i carsh cause its the same client loading twice.

Not to mention that when i click on the shortcut icon and Keyclone is running already it simply locks up and i have to restart my computer. Also Pip fuction simply dot work even after downloading the profiles.

Running Vista, (as a admin) good computer, 4 giga RAM, Core 2 duo processor, ATI Radeon 4870. Only trying to run 2 "wows"

Hope someone can help, cause iam runnign out of ideas here......

You might want to try the FAQ page where you actually got the software, particularly the bottom of it that provides his email as well as:

"i have more questions...
you can PM me at dual-boxing, username keyclone... or you can send me a note via the contact page".

In my experience, he is more than helpful.

For me Keyclone worked perfectly... best $20 I spent.

I viewed all the tutorial videos and was up and running with 5 windows in about 10 minutes.

I use all those functions and it has worked fine for me. I run it on two computers, one with Vista-32 and one with XP. My four slaves run on the Vista-32 box, I use PIP as well and at first I had my own window setup but switched to a Keyclone pre-defined one. The only bug I have come across thus far is shutting it down (it stays as a task if you don't close it from the task bar) and sometimes when I minimize it I cannot maximize it again.

Are you loading the wow clients using keyclone or just clicking on the WoW desktop icons? Are your "wow1" and "wow2" pointing to two different wow.exe's (e.g., not both C:\World of Warcraft\wow.exe) in the command editor? The command editor is used to assign the name (command) as well as the name for the window (region) for that particular command. These aren't the same variables but you can use the same name (I do) (i.e., my command is wow2 and my region name is also wow2).

Anyway, sounds to me like you may have other issues going on with your computer unrelated to the configuration of Keyclone (e.g., some kind of conflict?).

Once you get the issues worked out I am sure you will be happy with it. "Keyclone" will hook you up I am sure.

I have to admit that the program is not as intuitive out of the box as I would like, but that has absoultely nothing to do with being buggy.

I have used other programs and none have offered the functionality and performance that Keyclone has. And as has been stated here, the author is more than willing to help you one-on-one. NO other program I've ever used has offered that customer support and for FREE on top of it.

Methinks you need to separate you frustration and ignorance of the program from the true capabilities of the program.

No problems for me working with Keyclone either. For support, though you should contact Robert via the email or phone number he provides on his site. I know for a fact that he has helped customers over the phone to get them setup (he was on the phone with a friend of mine for 3 hours).

Edit: Also wanted to mention that he pretty much lost money on my friend he gave 3 hour phone support to. I'm sure 3 hours of his time is worth more than $20. Just shows you what a stand up guy he is.

if you are still a bit fuzzy on how to set up keyclone, and have about 15-20 minutes, i could give you a quick step-by-step setup walk through, including commands, maximizer, multiple displays, and pip. (i could also give you the basic wow macro setup... anything more then that takes too long). if that sounds like what you need, just drop me a PM with a number and times to call (or we could use vent). you could also call me, but please... try to make it between 7pm and 12am EST during the week or 10am-12am EST on the weekends. (any other time eats my minutes)

chat with you soon,

Rob (keyclone developer)

You can't really blame keyclone because you don't have a good concept of how a computer works or how to use various pieces of software. Fortunately for you, keyclone has excellent support and I'm sure he'll guide you step by step on exactly how to set it up. As you can see here, there are tons of other people (myself included) using keyclone with 0 issues.
