i ran a spriest / enh shaman duo which was a bit hard till i got some cast sequence macros made for my priest which was the slave toon, mainly would dot, and spam mind flay, and heal if necessary.....however i noticed withthe speed of leveling i got no gear and no money, so i'm 67 now on my shaman and she's got some decent quest gear but nothign good yet..... was thinking to get her ready for WOTLK if i should just ge tthe D3 gear as it's in the top level instances? rather than getting raid gear as we're not raiding anymore.... or would you suggest i go get raid gear to help leveling in northrend..

I wouldn't worry at all about gear right now since simply leveling to 80 will get you better stuff than you could possibly get now, and you only have 8 days left as it is. Level to 70 and get money for mounts and get some professions up to max.

I expected Dual-boxing t-shirts, misleading thread is misleading :D
As for gear, don't go nuts gearing up, you're very likely to replace a lot of stuff you have now with greens / blues from quests.
I've only recently hit 70 on my team (the night before the drums of war patch). I've just been getting gear on my paladin really, doing heroics and such for fun. And lots of dailies. A kara run per week with friends. As stated above, right now is not the time to "worry" about gear, just get levelled and get some money together for Wrath. Get professions up, and get mounts. If you really want to get some quick easy stuff, the Scourge Invasion gear is actually pretty good for casters. I decided to get a full set for all of my Shamans, and even managed a set on my Paladin. And god knows how many shards. I've been walking around with over 100 Large Prismatics at a time since it started. I can't sell shards fast enough.

the only thing i'm worrying about in gear is they're wanting to start some raiding on the new stuff immediately like the 5 mans and 10 mans , at 70, so i will need some gear, dont know if it will be like kara or harder, as in i'll need kara or za gear to even be able to raid the new 70 5-10mans, because kara you could go in with d3 gear and some crafted gear and you're ok to start off with, i dont wanna go into nexus or anythign with junky quest items from <70

Within a few hours of questing in northrend you should have adequate gear to do any of the starting instances. By the time you hit 80, unless you're decked out in sunwell gear you will pretty much replace every single piece of gear anyways.

split your team up.
take them to an instance or two to get some gear. i know... its not dual boxing, but it helps. heck, at 67 just go do some of the really fun group quests that give you good gear. there's a bunch in nagrand (durn, ringoblood, some jumping quest for eggs). if you run instances in duo, make some macros just for instances in order to heal tanks and other party members while still dpsing on your shaman. some fun to be had.
and get your team the undead slaying gear. its not too hard at 67. just make sure you have a tank, and your priest can heal the tank while the shaman dps. its very easy to take down these nexus crystals with even a 3 man group if you know what you're doing. with a warrior/priest and holy nova, you can pull the entire camp. dps? what dps?
