Anyone else having any problems training for the level 61 Charger mount?

I was able to pick up the Warlocks with no trouble.
But the Paladin says I still need the riding skill, yet it shows I have it in my character screen. :S

Ticket a GM, might just be a bug.

Was just talking to a warlock with the same problem. I'm curious whether any of the characters have / do not have their riding skill for that level already?

I'm having the same trouble. just spent 570 gold for the riding skill and went to the pally trainer.

It says i need the expert riding skill for the epic charger.

Where do i get the expert riding skill? The riding trainer has no other options for me to buy.

I didn't see any hot issues on the wow csr forum so it is probably local to each user. Try the obivious first and log in with no addons and try the trainer again. Next step would be to wipe the cache. Then rename the wtf folder as the last step. Those 3 should fix your problem. If not, then submit a ticket to have it looked at.

I think i read somewhere that you have to also have a epic month too, and not just the training.

I got a Blizzard email this morning from my ticket:

Answer:
There is currently an issue where the Paladin Epic Riding mount cannot be learned without 225 Riding (Expert) if the spell is learned outside of the quest -line. We are working towards correcting this. Please be aware, the Paladin quest is available for completion. For any information or updates concerning this issue, we encourage you to visit our Bug Report Forums, located at www.worldofwarcraft.com ('http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/forums')/forums.

I'd started part of the Paladin quest before they announced it would be trainable. :S

yeah is a "known issue" in the bug forum. If you are horde you can almost solo the whole thing and it works out to be a little cheaper then just buying the skill. Only part I needed help with was the final set in Strat. I have my daughter help on her 70 druid and it was easy.

If you are alliance, I would wait for the bug to get fixed. Theirs is a PITA.
