I came across this website cause my teacher was using it to run her home computer from class, and though it might be a good way to remotely control computers for software/hardware boxing.

The website in question is www.gotomypc.com

My thoughts are that you could open multiple windows with this on one computer anywhere, and control whichever computers you'd run your clients on from that one computer.
This would give hardware boxers all the functionality of software boxing while still retaining the advantage in load spread. Or so I think at least.

Any thoughts?

I have not used gotomypc.com, but I can tell you that it would not work well. At best, you could probably use it to help w/ a summon or make a mage table...etc... but I don't think you can use it as a dps or support role.

I've used DameWare and Terminal Services... and these are some of the best remote desktop solutions... and they would not send over the DirectX video.

I've multiboxed with two keyboards, and I've multiboxed with alt+tab, but I ain' never tried to multibox over a remote desktop app. Those things are sluggish even when you're just viewing 2D stuff.

I tried it once useing remote login through my home server and it report wow as a restricted application for remote access. lol
So I guess any 3d app may be restricted using most remote access.
