Hey all

I am a brand new dual boxer,

I started yesterday with a couple of druids just to taste the feel of it.. and it feels great!!

I just have some doubt about the best leveling pair..

Is double druid ok? specced how?

2 priest, 2 shams or 2 mages would be more efficient?

I would avoid the 2 sham pairs cause I have a lvl 44 sham that I plan to level up with the free levels..

Thanks all for the advices!

Yep I had seen that link before posting. There is a lot of information about multiboxing with 5 chars, but quite few about the dual box.. or maybe is me and I am not able to find that out..

Otherwise you'll want classes that can nuke extremely fast or be able to take a beating to some extent. 2 Boomkin should be fine, especially opening with Starfire x2 and then spamming wrath you shouldn't get hit too much.

I dual-boxed a rogue (master) and druid (slave) up to level 26. That was awesome, pretty much mow through mobs with hots keeping the rogue up. Now I have a lvl 67 warrior, priest, mage, and 2 shamans.

Usually a melee and a caster are good. Two casters as well. Two melee a bit harder, but can be done.

What classes do you like playing the best?

Play those.

Oh, and check out Jamba, its an addon that helps multi-boxers. It's linked in my signature.

thanks a lot for the really quick answers mates,

priests and mages are worse than druids as a couple?

Opinion. Whats best for one, may or may not be best for another.

If you want to stick to the 2 druids thing, Try one feral and one either resto or balance. With the feral changes and a healer you can chain pull packs and just swipe spam keeping your health up with some HOT's. Or you can try the 2 boomkin thing, though you will end up spending lots of time drinking till you get to outland and some gear. I leveled a warr/resto druid combo in this way and basically pulled groups of mobs nonstop where i could and just whirlwind/cleave spammed till dead and kept going.

Play what you want, you will have far more fun that way. I would avoid multiple melee for sanity sake (i know some have done it, I was not talented enough to however. If you can, great!), and having something that can somewhat heal in group reduces downtime quite a bit IMO.
