As posted on my blog ('http://www.v-boxing.net/v/tiki-view_blog_post.php?blogId=1&postId=56')...
Hi all you lovely folks out in intarwebland!
As you all have undoubtedly noticed, posts from me have become a bit sparse (what with RL taking the limelight all of the time). Furthermore, I've got a side project on hand that I've been focusing on.
And speaking of that side project -- I'm LFG!
That's right, I need your help to help me beta test some multi-blogging features! I'm looking for fellow multiboxers (including you, dual-boxers!) to beta test some features that allow people to host their own blog alongside mine.
Are you...
* a multiboxer of any kind?
* interested in starting your own blog?
* vocal about features you'd like and bugs you may find?
* familiar with a thing called "spell check"?
* willing to sell me your soul? BWAHAHAHAHA!
Ok, fine. I can live without the soul part if you insist.
Anyway, I'm looking for people who are interested in starting their own multiboxer blogs and don't mind helping me weed out some bugs or feature requests while I make Suvega do all of the webdesign work. *evilgrin* :D ^^
If you're thinking about starting up a blog (or migrating your existing blog) feel free to PM me :)
EDIT: We've moved to Open Beta ('http://wemultibox.com')! Feel free to register for your own blog (or read everyone else's) at http://www.wemultibox.com

Honestly I have my own blog but its more of a family/life blog, not related to multiboxing at all. However as time has progressed and I've made progress in multiboxing, I've thought about starting a blog specifically related to it. Would definitely be interested.

I've got a blog planned for WotLK with (somewhat) excited tales of levelling- and instance progress, mostly focused on my PvE goal, which is to box all 5-man content in the expansion with video footage. Keep in mind however that I'm not from an english speaking country, which my written english reflects :-)

So you design the website and I just put on stuff of my multiboxing adventures without having to worry about website design and coding and all, which is something I can't find the time for?
I'll give it some thought, though I am generally a very lazy person when it comes to keeping track of my hobbies. Since I'm already keeping track of oh so many things in my business life. >.<

Vyn, are you looking for a hard-set, must blog X times a week/month, etc. type blog, or a place to post blogs as they come to us?
E.g. I'd be willing to blog on a non-set timeline type thing. Not so sure I'd want to be locked into X schedule though.
Let me know which, and if you want another blogger... kulzor@wpg.org

I would be interested as well Vyn, but as poster above would we have to post x blogs a week or as we get new idea's and share what we been doing.

I would be up for it! I, like the two posters above me, would like to know if there are certain requirements that you are expecting for posts and the such. I will be moving and going on shore duty soon so I should have time to do some good stuff with WoW and like. Are there certain things you are wanting to test? Always helps to have a goal for beta testing lol.

What are you a squid? Don't tell me your a squid!
Vet here, 12 years under my belt, at this point in my life just can't dedicate myself to finish it out. I landed a great job, and even Reserves is ugh can't do it no more.

Whoa, this thread exploded!
I've finished digging through my e-mails -- if you didn't receive an email or response from me, poke me again.
There are no required post counts or posts-per-week. I find that more stressful than it's worth (seeing as I'm somewhat erratic with my posting as well). Forcing out content when you have writer's block just means poor content.
In short, I'm trying to just put together a community of like-minded bloggers to consolidate all the useful personal experiences into the same place. You keep your individuality by having your own blogspace, and the blogs will all be aggregated together on a seperate page for readers to search and oogle through all the bits of knowledge. The bloggers also have areas for blogstorming ideas for various posts.
Coding/design is provided for you (though you can tweak it to your personal preferences if you like), all you have to do is put up the content. No fuss, no mess. :)

Also there is a TON of themes. We want to ensure that everyone has their own personal space, but yet be part of a community of bloggers :).

Vyn,
I'm no where near as skilled as many of you with MB, but I'm hoping to work my way up to that (I currently 2-box on my old PC while I wait for a mobo to be replaced for my 5-man PC). If you're looking for a newb blogger, I'd be happy to help out. I was actually going to do a mini MB section on my personal blog, but I'm always willing to help out others. :)
I'll send you a PM as requested :)

We've exercised the site a bit, added a few extra features, and now feel comfortable to move to open beta (which will help me, since I seem to keep losing emails).

Thanks Vyn and Suvega for setting it up!

Some of the themes don't work well. The first one I tried (Painted) was so narrow I could only see half the editbox for posting a new entry. The toggle rich text editor didn't work either. I switched to Ocadia, and the floating divs on the right with the menu and blogroll both flow on top of the new post edit box.

Hmm, the issue seems to be with the WYSIWYG editor that Suvega added. We haven't tested all of the theme backends with the editor...
I'll punt this over to Suvega to fix. ;) I edited Painted to make it less narrow (at least for the moment) until Suvega can work up a fix.
