Ello,

I'm having this problem for a while and I haven't found the proper answer yet. I'm trying to run WoW 2 times on my dual-screen setup. 1 17'' CRT monitor and 1 19'' TFT monitor.

When I run WoW one time on any of the above monitors it all goes well, no problems whatsoever. But when I open one WoW on the left, and one on the right I'm starting to get strange artifacts. ''Flashes'' from time to time, but they look just like artifacts.

My graphic card is a 5 month old GeForce 9600GT, which I'm 100% sure isn't broken or anything. I updated my drivers to the latest, so that's not the issue either. Does anyone know what can cause these problems?

Maybe some ingame video options are causing them?

Please enlighten me :). Cause I wanna start out multiboxing asap.

Kind regards,

- Plaza

My graphic card is a 5 month old GeForce 9600GT, which I'm 100% sure isn't broken or anything.I wouldn't be 100% sure if I were you. I was getting that same sort of flashing and artifacts and it was a bad video card. I had graphics rays shooting off into the distance, flashing textures, etc.

Check your fans, make sure they spin freely. Thermal damage can be avoided if you catch it early.

I had this issue with a brand new 8800gt. If you are pretty sure it isn't related to heating damage, here are some things you can try:

- Install different drivers
- New power supply (Not enough amps on the 12v rail can do some strange things)

Installing a different set of drivers is what solved it for me. The newest nvidia drivers didn't solve it. I ended up installing the drivers that came with the card. Hopefully I'll be able to up to the latest drivers in the future.

Best of luck :)

I had the same problem with artifacts which turned out to be bad RAM. I'm quite sure that this is a problem with several different possible causes not any clear cut cause.
