What to buy with badges of honor?

Well i just did Bot and got 4 badges of honor. I could not get the demon down and wiped oh him a few times. So it looks like Bot is doable with my crew. What should I look to get with my badge rewards? Basically considering my gear and team, what would be the best bang for the buck on upgrades?

Well first off how many badges do you think you can get? This is kind of a weird time being so close to BC.

I would suggest getting the 33 badge shield for your shammies. Maybe some clicky trinkets for the whole team.

Well, spend your badges, don't hoard them.

Come WotLK, your old badges will be around still, but for the old gear.
Shatt has two levels of badge gear, the original stuff which is close to T4, the second set of stuff which is around T5 level.
All of the stuff from Sunwell is comparable to T6 gear and quite nice for just needing heroics to get it.

At 80th, pretty much all of the current raid gear and/or badge gear will be gone, replaced even by 80 green's.
The new heroics will drop badges as well, but they will be WotLK badges and the old badges won't be good for the WotLK rewards.

For shaman's, the Icon of the Silver Crescent is a really nice trinket.
I believe its one of the better trinkets in the game for an Elemental.
Not really sure how long it will last you in WotLK content, but you need to get well into T6 or go Dark moon card: Crusade + Illhoof Lightning Capacitor to have better, within BC.
Quagmirron drops Quag's Eye which is fairly decent for a dps too... Slave Pens heroic.

Buy gems, sell them, make some profit. Quest rewards in 10 days will be be very similiar(and in some cases better) then what You'll get from badges(for example a trinket reward at 72 is almost as good as trinket from m'uru).

This, use whatever badges you get for profit only, as soon wotlk will be here and youd replace your badge gear anyhow.

Well i had the same problems with this demon guy in Bota. There is a kind of easy way to burn him down.

You walk down to Thorngrin (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17978) with your tank and just park your toons on the right upper ledge. cast Totems and burn him down.
if you'll loose aggro with your tank, he has to walk all the way "upstairs" and towards the ledge to reach your toons - so enough time to rebuild aggro on your tank!

Hellfire is real pain but standing on this ledge won't reach you toons - you can just burn him down ( should stop damage cause of aggro reset). if one of your chars
gets sacrificed you should move him towards thorngrin.
