View Full Version : Is the mouse-click multiplier in HotKeyNet as laggy as the one in KeyClone?

I've noticed that when I use the mouse-click multiplier [meaning it does the same mouse-click in every window] in KeyClone, I experience a minor lag video-wise. KeyClone uses a round-robin type of method to replicate the mouse-clicks, and I am looking for some way to make it more simultaneous.
Does HotKeyNet work this way? Are the replicated mouse-clicks instant to every window, or round-robin like KeyClone?
Is there a way to take KeyClone off of the round-robin mouse-clicks?
Thanks.

Assuming we're talking about a single PC, HotkeyNet sends a click to one WoW, then the next, then the next.
How long does this take? That depends on a setting which you adjust. If you make the setting too short, it's not reliable. On my main PC HotkeyNet requires 16 ms per WoW for 100% reliability. For five WoWs that would be 80 ms which is about a twelfth of a second. Your PC may require longer or shorter settings. (My main PC is a dual-core E6600 running at 2.4 GHz.)

I use hotkeynet clicks over 3 PC's and havent noticed any delay. I use it to send clicks for heals on 4 characters at once and they all seem to fire off within a few ms.

When HotkeyNet sends clicks to separate PCs it sends them at the same time. (Actually there's an interval of a few millionths of a second but it's not detectable.) The delays I described only happen with multiple WoWs on a single computer.
