2x 70 mage spec...?

Best PVP spec for dual boxing mages now? Double pom pyro still king? Arcane seems like I would be really gimping myself because half the time I'm strafing or running jump spin casting instants.... Would be hard to pull that off on the background mage on /follow. BW has a cool knock back effect now which is definitely a plus. They could both cast focus magic on each other too!!!

For PVE I would go deep fire (no BW, no DB, and background mage no hot streak).

Any input would be appreciated!

Arcane in PVP is op right now, however ArBar is gonna get nurfed. ::cries in the corner::

Arcane Bar + Fireblast + Arcane Bar = instagib! weeeeee

umm, either way, I think arcane is your best tree. Forst has control but requires alot of coordination, something that just doesn't work. you want to be mobile and blowing things up.

Full arcane with 2 points in the fireblast talent. You can run around spamming instant attacks. Not having to cast anything will keep you alive longer. Just run and gun.

Try 2 or three specs and decide for yourself. It's really going to depend on your play style.

I've done fire-frost, then switch to dual pom pyro. ( very fun )
After seeing how OP Arcane could be after the patch, I switched to dual Arcane. It was ok, but still leaves you very squishy. It also leads to lots of problems with your toons breaking follow.
Now I'm dual frost, and I must say it's really fun. I'm not nearly as squishy. Having 2 elementals out and giving you back mana is pretty nice, and I have lots of ways to avoid getting hit.

Really, re-speccing isn't expensive. So, try something that looks interesting to you. If your not really feeling it, try something completely different. There are a lot of fun mage specs, but it just depends on how you like to play.
