Whats going on there? I live a few miles away from the Manhattan Beach Fry's. The 91 freeway sucks.

I could stop by, but I have amazon delivering my (1) physical copy the next morning. And I plan to electronic upgrade the other 4 to keep from having too much useless packaging lying around.

I'd be there if I was around at the time. I was in Anaheim at the beginning of this year, but alas, I'm going to be in Northern California where the Fry's Electronics here won't be open until 8am. I'm close to Sam in San Jose!

Perhaps we should set up a dual-boxing.com staging area complete with flag and several cardboard boxes.

I would go but like I posted in another thread, my knees are weak from a recent motorcycle accident and standing in line would kill me. I live in Buena Park, about 10 minutes from the Anaheim Fry's.

I'll be doing recon of the place later this week. Hopefully there's an open wifi spot for me to upload content. If not, I'll have to go with someone's EVDO connection.

I'm going to bring a big cooler filled with drinks and food (and all my leftover Halloween candy).

Power is going to be a huge issue for blogging as there probably isn't an available outlet outside. I guess I can bring multiple laptops, batteries and a UPS.

Heh, I'm looking at a huge stack of laptops at work. Hmmmm....

I remember wow release day at Frys in Anaheim. The line was wrapping around the parking lot twice! Longest line I've ever seen. Never waiting in line at an announced midnight opening again after that. (and i didn't even wait that time. WTG bby friends!!)

Here's my story (you can skip this part if you want) So my hubby and I showed up in Anaheim last time right about at midnight. We were at the end of the line and pretty much stayed there as not many showed up behind us. Took a couple hours to get inside the building. I can read your mind right now. You're thinking "yeah....should have shown up earlier". Well waiting before...or waiting after...it's still waiting. Pretty much the only way to avoid waiting in line is to show up at 2 am and hope there are still copies. BTW, there were still copies. If you want you can get back in line and go through the table again for more autographs. Since we were there at the end and there was no line left, we did that. We each bought a regular copy for ourselves and a special edition. We sold those fancy autographed special editions on ebay that very night for some fancy cash that easily paid for our copies. Oh and for my fellow long beachian, they only let us buy 2 each so looks like you need to bring some friends. But this time we both have those nasty day jobs and husband said "no late night release for us". So I'll be camping early to get in, get out and get loaded.

Anyway...I was hoping the vets can help me out.

When should I really show up? I get off work at 3:00pm Will I get a good spot by that time, or should I call in sick and head over there right now to be at the front of the line? Since I didn't go early last time...I just don't know.

I was also planning to bring my lappy and I was hoping to find an exterior outlet (Every building has them, but they're probably locked up) and that Fry's or a nearby location has wifi. If your recon has produced answers please fill me.

Here's a pic of me and my hubby if you want to find me in line. My hair is much longer. Also, ignore the dude on the right. I'll probably by hunkered down in a camp chair with a green blanket. Hit me up before 6 or so if you want in on the taco bell run. Sorry, I only stock diet Dr pepper.

I may drive by after work tomorrow (today?11/12) just to say hi and such, since the place is on one of my optional routes home from work (Tustin->Fullerton). What time will you be starting your reporting/stake-out ?

I'll drive over after I wake up and eat... seeing that I wake up around noon-1pm, I should be there by 2 PM :)

I will probably be the only guy wearing a suit and tie

My BF and I are going to try to be there between 2-3 pm. We should definitely be meeting up :) Oh, and I might be slightly sticking out bc I freeze easily so I put on a bright pink long sleeved shirt under my Paladin shirt :whistling: Doesn't exactly match, but hey, as long as I'm warm :D

So... are we going to set up a meeting place or anything? I don't want to hang out with QQers who want to yell at me for multiboxing ;(

Here's a pic of me:

And here's a pic of my BF (and myself before I dyed my hair, and well, no pics of him by himself lol):

So yeah, hope to see you all there! :D

No need to wait in line!

www.offgamers.com will e-mail you a cd-key ($39.99) at 11:59:59pm EST... which means 8:59:59pm PST. I purchased my BC expansions with them because it was cheaper.

I'm not sure the legality of it, but you can probably find an ISO on a torrent. In any case, you need the install key to use the software.

That's my plan. Ordered 2 copies over the net, and pre-ordered 4 at Fry's. I'll pick those up tomorrow at lunch.

Correction:

They just e-mailed me my keys. I'm all set. I'll be playing at 9pm PST. =)

Um yeah that site that you linked is selling good and power leveling services, so it probably shouldn't exist here due to our TOS.(i didn't list the site name in my post)
