Hey guys I have been having problems with keyclone it works fine but i just don't understand. I am dual-boxing a warrior (main) and a shaman (clone) and i whenever my warrior goes to attack something and the shaman is following i get up to attack on the warrior but the shaman is following me and he can't attack the target because hes facing the wrong way...any have ideas on how to fix this? Also could someone link some helpful keyclone guides (i just bought it today). Thanks!

running in with a melee with your shaman in toe, would lead to facing issues. you should consider making your caster stop following before you take your warrior in... thereby leaving him facing the right way.

btw, if you are new to multi-boxing, a group of casters is probably easier then a melee caster combo.

as for a keyclone guide... you would have to be more specific. using search on the forums will find the answers to many of your questions. also look at the stickies.. those posts at the top of each forum with a special 'splat'-like icon

if you still have questions, drop me a note and i'll see what i can do.

have a great night and welcome to multi-boxing

If you still want to do the melee/caster combo, you could use Voice Commander to have follow/stay/facing commands and even throw in some commands for casting.

I try to not use too many vocal commands because I tend to not pronounce very well when I play, cause I only play after work, and am normally pretty tired by then :D

Here you go:

Also, there are some other software tools listed in the Software section of the forums, but you should be able to get going off of that.

If you are willing to spend another $10 then there is also VRCommander. Basically the same as the above software, but it works out of the box, no vocal training required, and I personally think its easier to set up profiles and such.

Is there a key mapping guide? or do i even need it...

Well, for the first one, there is a default layout for a Priest on WoW, and you could probably modify that easily. I'm not too familiar with the way its all scripted, but you should be able to decipher it pretty well after a bit.

For the second one, there is a free trial, and it is all setup through a GUI instead of scripting it all. I think that there is a demo video or something like that on their site, don't remember exactly.

keymaps? no.

for only 2 characters, you should not have to use keymaps in order to get rolling.

by default, keyclone will pass each key you hit into all windows it is managing. just be aware of which keys you have mapped and you should be good.

What is macro so it tells my shaman to stop following? Or is there a better way to do it so he actually hits the target instead of following me..
Thanks!

If by hit you mean melee, then have him follow the main into range and click the /assist *warriorname* macro, turn on "auto attack on assist" option in the WoW interface options

Hes still following me so sometimes when hes TRYING to attack he cant because hes facing the wrong way because hes following me

Follow will break as soon as he hits the mob, if he's not hitting it and therefore stopping it's down to placement, which means you're not placing the warrior in a way that positions the shaman correctly

I tried going the melee/caster(healer) route myself for a while. It really is much easier to go with all casters... but to each their own.

I have run the combo that you're speaking of, though. It can work.

bind keys for follow 'warrior', assist 'warrior', heal 'warrior', etc.,..

...
Rather than charging the mob with the warrior and having the sham follow you into battle, why not have the sham drop totems and then have the warrior pull with a ranged weapon? Then you are already setup and fight the mob on your terms (as long as they are melee mobs).

Fighting ranged mobs (and areas with ranged mobs) was not good for me.
