/Sigh so I have been doing some thinking and have come to the conclusion that perhaps I should drop one of my shamans and Use my Free Rafs to make a Prot Pally.. Currently My shamen are all level 63 and I really am enjoying the crap out of them. I feel that I can get what I need done with what I have but I cant help but think Perhaps there is a slightly better avenue that I could take. That of actually having a "Tank" In my group that being said I have come to ask your advice your thoughts and yourguidance. The best way for me to do that would be to first state what I like to do I would assume.
I really like to PVP thats one of the reasons I chose to make the 5 shaman team
I forsome reason or another really like to collect and horde money (Dont ask why because I really couldnt give a good honest answer)
I like to PVE 5 man instances and join 10 man raids with my friends
So based on those 3 criteria what would you suggest I do and why? what makes the most sense? Obviously I would be able to do quite a bit with the 5 shaman team as many people here have done. I just cant help but think what if.
Thanks in advance everone

I don't really care that much about the 5man content, but i've been able to get through most TBC heroics with 5 shaman without any major issues. That said I do think having a pocket tank ready for wotlk is a good idea, especially if you have the gift levels for one. Big appeal to me is for naxx 10, atleast in my guild there are very few tanks so the 10man runs sort of revolv around what they want to do. If your bringing the healing and tanking to a 10m, you can fill in the rest pretty easily with dps and make the runs happen more around your schedule.
So im just leveling my 5 shaman 70-80, then after they are 80 ill level up my other chars as a second group. You get a free deathknight thats level 55 so the benefit of waiting to level until wotlk is that you can take the deathknight up with your other chars 60-80

It can only be a good thing to have a tank. Just because you have it doesn't mean you have to always use it. Keep the 5 shaman for PVP if that works better for you, and swap out one shaman for a tank here and there when needed. Sure, you might spend a lot of time leveling when you have to now bring a 6th character up to 80, but if you do it I'm sure you'd find the tank useful to have in PVE content if you ever happen to want to run a 5 man for something.

hm, for your purposes I would go with a druid, and thats why:
If you want to do heavily PVE and need a Tank, spec him feral and you have one
If you want a true 5 DPS-Team. spec the druid balance. This also has the benfit that you are buffing yot shmans spellpower with moonkin-aura and 13% spell-damage.
For Arena PVP you might try to use a 5-DPS-Team or a 4 dps, 1 healer (with the druid as healer).
In your situation i would take the druid above a prot paladin, because a Druid can (with the according spec) tank, meele-dps, heal and range-dps, the paladin only the first three.

Agree with druid, I made a druid over a pally myself. Especially with this dual spec business, if you can swap between 5 caster group and 1 tank 4 casters mid dungeon, thats pretty pro

I had considered originally going down the druid road but was turned off by the fact that I would have to be a giant cow (That said I do have a druid alt already I just *Shudder* thinking about him in my groups lol)
I am leaning toward doing what the Big BB said and just use a pocket tank when i feel like im going to need it thats a decent possibility. My theory would be once I get the shamen to level coming back and levling the pally from 60-80 (Going to grant him 60 levels) SHOULD be a complete and total joke. I mean if im only having to really concern myself with One character then doing any quest Collections (only having to worry about him) or kill will be Uber easy because his back up will be a group of level 80s.
Down side is that it seems like this is going to WTF pwn my bank account....Yet again... And I thought 5 level 60 epic mounts was a pain in the ass..

be a female cow. they're smaller.
and 90% of your time will be in moonkin, cat, bear, flight, or tree form. you will hardly see your tauren in its real form. i know i dont.

If you go druid, you won't be a giant cow, but a moonkin or bear any time you're actually doing anything. Also, you could be a female tauren which are not really that giant.
