View Full Version : How to summon Swift Zhevra in a macro?

So I finally picked up my swift zhevra mounts yesterday... used the item to get the mount in my mount window, and then "adjusted" my mount macro to change the line:
/cast [nocombat,noflyable] Swift Gray Wolf
to
/cast [nocombat,noflyable] Swift Zhevra
I noticed when I did this that the macro now had a "0" over it (0 charges). When I click the button it says "You don't have that item".
I tried changing /cast to /use, same error. Even tried setting up a macro to JUST do this:
/cast Swift Zhevra
same message about no item.
How on earth do you macro summoning a swift zhevra? Is it even possible??

Exit the game, delete the WDB folder, log in, and it should work.
It's a caching bug.

Will try that - will this kill anything else? Don't want to erase any settings :)

It will kill your cache, which basicly means you won't notice a thing. And it will just recache everything automatically.
Remember though, WDB, not WTF. :p

you can just log out and log back in.

actually, didnt work for me for mounts I learned that kept the same name as the mount item. Somehow my cache kept seeing the name as an item in my bag, despite it being in my spellbook now.
Deleting wdb helps for that.
You wont encounter this problem for most mounts. For example, Item "Horn of the Frostwolf Howler" became the cast "Frostwolf Howler" so wont become a cache problem.
Swift Zhevra -> Swift Zhevra however, you need to empty the cache for it or it will keep trying to locate the one in your bag.

i see i see.
hehe only time i've encountered this was when i lost all my mounts. got the mail from the GM with all my mounts. clicked on them to learn them, then it made that error that Hachoo mentioned. a simple logout/in for me worked. just my 2cents.

Logout/login fixed it for me as well, just to throw that out there :)

It's a problem with the new pet/mounts system.
Any time you learn a new mount you have to log out then back in to be able to summon it.

I suppose Blizz fixed the caching problem already then, somewhat. :P
