has anyone else had trouble with alt toons losing follow after patch 3.0.2? Before the patch i could ride or run on main and alt followed with no problem unless he got hung uop. Since the patrch the main always out runs/rides the alt unless he stops every 10 sec or so. of course as soon as he out runs/rides the alt the alt loses follow. isif you are having the same problem, what have you done to fix it or is it just the lag since the patch causing the problem?

i would imagine that the issue with slaves dropping follow is caused by all the server lag lately. it has been getting better, but not perfect yet. I lose follow sometimes as well, you just have to keep an eye on them for now.

If any of your toons is faster then the others, ie Paladin with four Shaman's for example, have the faster toon (Crusader Aura in this case) in the following group, not the lead character.
This helps quite a bit.

There's not a lot you can do against the server latency issue.
As Blizzard upgrades servers, and as many who have returned for the expansion tire of the game, the issue will likely go away.

You could give each of your followers Mithril Spurs, Carrot on a Stick or Riding Enchant to gloves, but not the lead character.
This is the same idea as the Paladin above.
Not an ideal situation, but it helps a little.

Whenever I've had team members lose follow it was due to one of these:

1) The follower got stuck on an object

2) I had severe lag, (usually in Shattrath) so the main was moving, the follower was lagging.

3) My main (paladin) had crusader aura active, but I'd forgotten to /invite the rest of the team to the party, so they moved slower :D
