I love keyclone. I'm not in love with having to manually enter hotstrings through the interface. Is it possible to bring up a .kcl file in an editor and enter the information that way?

This takes quite a bit of time to do when I could simply open an editor and use the search and replace commands to make a new set of hotstrings.

For Example - taken from the FTL link:

" You then make the following hotstrings, you'll need 5 per character per spell.

ToonA:

2 --> LBAT
Ctrl-alt-] --> LBBT
Alt-Shift-] --> LBCT
Ctrl-Alt-Shift-] --> LBDT
Ctrl-] --> LBET "

If you know all the key numbers, yes. I'd prefer the GUI method since I've no idea what number combination certain keys have off of the top of my head.

Yep, I use a perl script to generate all my .kcl files and my wow FTL macros ... I just plug in toon names and the list of binding pairs for FTL (the key I'll press, and the key I want to use for the "hidden" macro). I just copy the files into keyclone / wow after.

I added a thread in general with my script:
