To the other fellow multiboxers.
I decided today that I wanted to give multiboxing a try as well. Read up in the basics, the macro's and the program autohotkey (yeah, im a cheapskate, I'm dutch... :P).
Going to start "easy" with a Warlock and a Mage combo. Two of the same classes would be easier, but I am stupid and going to try that setup anyway. I am a clicker so will have my Warlock with all the dot's as the main char, and have my dot's and the likes on bar 3, which wont have any commands send to the other client, and use the mainbar for the nuking(shadow/frost) and spells that look alike in actions/functions.
Going to use RAF because I dont want to level too slow.
Can't wait to try it out tonight!
If there are any tips you have, I would love to hear them!

If you are RAFing I would suggest the following.
1. If you have no high level characters to send them money for training and bags then get gathering professions and sell everything you gather on the AH.
2. Further to point 1. Consider not buying all the spells your characters can buy until you have money for them. Only choose your main damage spells and perhaps the water and food spells on the mage (as that will save money on consumables).
Finally - enjoy yourself.

I am a clicker
There is no doubt this will eventually change! Just to give you a nudge though, getting used to all keybinds take a few days to a week depending on how much you play and you'll not regret it ever after. :)
But ehm, welkom in de multidozen wereld! :P

i will say ive been playing wow since beta and have clicked the entire time.. however, since keyclone doesnt pass clicks i had to learn how to use keybinds.
Its not so bad though, feels more like playing an FPS. Good luck.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
And thanks for the tip too not buy all my spells at once. I have 6 other level 70's (and indeed, I am using RAF), and I am used to buy every spell I can get my hands on. Off course, I am not the most rich player (too lazy to level up a profession, or do daily quests, since I love PvP too much), so I will use this tip greatly. ;)
I also changed my mind, Going for two warlocks after all. I love PvP and to be able to throw a dozen dots on 1 player really fast just feels good!

^^^ = Going to be the names if they are not taken. :P Off course they will be Undead, just because there animation rocks. Maybe 2 males, or 1 male and 1 female. Husband and wife. Haven't decided on the gender combination yet.
I know keybinds are, in the end, the best there is. But can't be arsed to teach myself the keybinds. I good be a pretty good player in pvP if I used keybinds. But I hate to force myself to be good and pushing myself to win in arena, and such moments I a getting frustrated when I loose and that isnt good! Bit off topic but oh well. :P
En blij om een doos ... ehm, Multidoos te zijn!
Edit: the only key's I don't click are the numbers 1-6, since they are easy to reach. Will be a few more (1-=) seeing as I am going to dual box. :)

Any suggestions over the best talent spec to dual box two warlocks with? I was first thinking affliction, but that needs time to do it's work, so I was thinking about destruction now. :)
