Hey guys,

I am thinking of making a video levelings guide. Since everyone is asking a lot for a levelings guide, and i always liked leveling. I am just wondering how and what i should get to start.

Questions:
-I dont think i will use fraps since it drops my fps ingame by 20-30 fps, and it saves the video in a big format.
-I never used gamecam or whatever so i want to look if that works.
-Should i use RAF or not?
-Will this work?
-Classes?
-What kind of server? New pvp/pve old pvp/pve whatever

Where should i post my videos?

I want to make a site for it and maybe get some money of advertisement. The video will be free.

Kind regards,

Totemic Multiboxing

I would like to see casters 2 box 60-70.

Im playing balance druids, but mages or destruction locks are ok.

I dont think you should show RAF, cause you can lvl so quick without knowing anything about lvling with it.

Well, i got an idea, search in youtube for the video "In Frost we trust" is a good example, imagine a dual boxing leveling video with the classic 5 shamans!

:)

just my 2 centīs

anyway you got a good idea!

I don't think there needs to be a raf guide. Non-raf, maybe. I'd rather just have a text guide, like they have on wow-pro though. The only exception is for excessive grinding spots, like if you're repeatedly running instances, then videos showing them are good. http://www.wow-pro.com/death_knight_aoe_how_to has two good examples. Always include text because it isn't always obvious what you're doing or why you're doing it.

Yeah well,

Its hard to make a 10 minute video with all zones 1-60 or whatever, and instances usually lead their own way.

I was thinking of the same thing that Joana did with his leveling guide, but then for multiboxers.

I prefer making a videoguide first and after write a normal text guide where you can read what im doing. That way i can just check my video and write down the quests i did, and give tips aswell.

Let me know what you think,

I don't think you would find much of an audience that's going to sit and watch you quest. I would say a text version of "go here get this quest, not that quest" would be 100x better. Especially since you won't be able to see quest details without a lot of editing to overlay text into the video when you're getting a quest. A text version with coordinates would be much better.

I'm all for a multiboxing 1-70 guide cause I haven't seen a definitive one (i also haven't gone looking for one either). Is it really hard to level? With addons these days I can't believe it's so hard to level. Especially with Questhelper and the XP nerfs 1-70. Maybe I've just done it enough I'm kinda over it.

True,

I really loved Joanas Videos. Just play on your main toon and set on the video on your second screen.

Theres a trailer for people that dont know what the leveling guide is all about.

okay, well I just started making videos and such. I would say using camstudio is very good, its free and easy to use.
But if you dont have a very good computer it will not compress the video, or should i say it will try but then give you an error.
Since i do not have a very high end computer, I did try to make a 30 minute video to see how it would work, i got the error.. :( wasted 30 minutes!

But I would like to see 2 great video guides, 1 Non-Raf and 1 Raf. I dont know how long the RAF program will be going on but it would be nice.
For me, I would love to see how someone levels through all classes and both HORDE and ALLIANCE.
