View Full Version : Any 60-70 Alliance Leveling Guilds for Boxers?

Well my first group of 4 hunters and 1 shaman are almost to 60 and I've started looking more into 60-70.

I've seen a handful of 1-60 guides. I've also seen some writeups about just doing instances to level in Outlands. But is there any 60-70 boxing specific leveling guides (alliance side) out and about? Or do I need to just stay with Brian Kopp's guide and weed out all the gathering quests?

Thanks

Get carbonite or quest helper. (I've got Brian Kopps guide and I can't bear to use it. I really hate having to follow it step for step, it takes the fun out of the game for me).

Gather up all quests in a zone. Don't do any of the gathering quests unless there is a really good reward at the end of it (and as you will be gearing up whilst levelling don't worry too much about that).

Then complete them all. Thanks to patch 3 you won't have to worry about making up the loss of xp from gathering quests by instancing, but if you enjoy instances add them in to the mix.

I took time off of multiboxing to level my druid to 70 after patch 3. (I am in a small friendly guild on the alliance side and they need someone to run instances with).

I was able to hit 70 in Nagrand. Obviously multiboxing will be a bit slower, but the nerf to levelling XP is amazing.

I am not quite there yet, but I have been having success picking and choosing in Jame's Alliance leveling guide. Very good and free.

I also use Questhelper/tomtom addon.

How do you like carbonite and is it pretty user friendly? I've looked at it in the past and liked some of the things it can do. I've never looked at quest helper, but I'll take a look at it today. Thanks

Ramps 60 till 64 - There are two chest per run and you can get decent world drop BOE items to upgrade from old world content. Or just pick them up off of the AH - Blade of trapped knowledge

MT until you can run a lvl 70 instance. You can bridge the gap by doing CoT:Durn if you'd like. I'm not a fan of it due to the hunter mobs.

Definitly reco Jame's levelling ('http://www.wow-pro.com/leveling_guides/') guide :)

Cabonite or Quest Helper are wonderful ( I'm using cabonite because an earlier version of QH had a really bad memory leak, my friend says that the memory leak has been fixed though and he prefers QH )
you probably want to complete this whole quest chain http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=10119, you get a nice blue that lasts you quite a while somewhere in the middle of it.

leveling has been increased from 60-70, previously you could do all of the quests for hellfire and be level 62 at best, I didn't do all of them with my latest team and was level 63.5
that including doing both dungeons for ramparts and blood furnace ( shaman + 4 hunters ) at 63.
I finished most of zangarmarsh and I was level 66.
per say I was rested for quite a few places like the dungeons and that does speed leveling up.

The lack of 60 to 70 leveling guides lacks for boxers because RAF stops at 60.
Because of that it really is just doing anything you want, you might need to do some collections, you might want to do some instances, but because lack of 300% exp. there is no real "rush" to ding as fast as possible!

BUT, i will suggest, Questhelper #1
hellfire 58-61
zangarmarsh 61-63(64)
terrokar maybe to 65
Skip blades edge
Nagrand 65 to 67
netherstorm 67 to 69
shadowmoonvalley 69-70
then go hit the boat to northrend!
