Fursphere mentioned in one of the posts that Blizzard has stated hunter's and mage's damage is too high right now. I am getting close to hitting 70 with a 5 hunter team and was wondering if anyone knows what nerfs they are looking at doing, or if you think the damage downgrade will be pretty heavy.
I'd hate to see them hit too hard as I never played a hunter prior to boxing them up. 5 gorillas takes a lot of the heat off of not having a healer in the group, but a big nerf would probably make me be the number #1 supporter of the health pot industry, again.
Thanks!

According to the latest Beta stuff, mobs will receive a 10% armor increase across the board.
So for physical classes such as Hunters, Melee-Pets, Warriors, Rogues, Enh-Shaman's etc...
This will result in approximately a 10% dps loss.

This will result in approximately a 10% dps loss. This math has to be wrong. If a mob has 1000 armor and now got 1100, you wouldn't lose 10% of your DPS against that mob!

Well, those changes aren't too bad. I'll enjoy the current level of OP while I can.
Peace

You'd see 10% more mitigation than that mob normally has. I'd guess the realized DPS drop from standard, armored (i.e.: non-squishy) elites and non-elites will be somewhere around 3-5%. Some mobs may see a bit more but those will only be the ones with really, really high AF to begin with. Squishy mobs won't change enough to matter.
