I currently multibox 3 shamans and have been trying to do arenas for several weeks now with little to no success. I don't know if it was just the lag today, but I pretty much did horribly and got 1-9, putting me at 1288 . . . My two 'alts' have like 2/3 PvP gear and ~200 resil, and 9k hp so I know my gear is lacking a bit on that end, but they are both elemental PvP spec. Granted, I have my main spec'd resto for PvE but that should change once I hit 80 or so.

Has anyone gotten high ratings with a multi boxed 3v3 shaman team at all? It's pretty ridiculous when my ratings are this low, and I don't see the viability of having 3 sham's in WOTLK when all the good pvp gear needs arena points which I can't seem to get very well =(

I have my strongest doubt since 3 shamans aint realy enough to burst someone down fast enough, well yet atleast and i doubt it will get THAT much better with lavaburst.

Imagine your facing a standar RPM wich basicly have all cc's.

You will be stunned, sapped, sheeped, blinded and when you are about to get down either the mage or the rogue they iceblock/clos.. The disc priest is not realy easy to burst down either if hes awake.

maybe setup a 5v5 team with 2 friends ?

3v3 is rather hard for a boxer. imo.

There are often situations in arena where you need to be in two places at the same time. As for 3v3 goes, I doubt you could get high, you can beat some teams with the right tactics, but you aren't hard to counter.

5v5 though, with a healer and a cc class, like a mage or a rogue, moonkin might work too that focuses on cc and nukes at the right times, you have viability as long as communication is proper.
