so i've had keyclone for a few weeks now, working beautifully on vista 32
i installed vista 64 last night, installed keyclone (still waiting on that id key reset ;] ) but now when i try to close it, the process doesn't actually end. i click the X and it makes the little closing chime sound, the mouse lags for a second, but then the icon stays in the tray and the keyclone process is still running in task manager. i don't have much experience with vista 64, so i don't know if this is common or not... not a huge deal to end the task but it's kind of annoying to have to do it every single time i close keyclone. any thoughts/ideas?

I can confirm this happens for me as well. It's a known bug and I think Rob knows about it. Maybe fixed in the next release? :)

similar to some programs that "hang" in the system tray, if you mouse over the keyclone icon, it will disappear. My vista 64 box did the same thing until i tried to click on the icon again then it simply disappeared.

this is a known bug with some systems when you try to close using the X in the upper right

instead, right-click the keyclone tool tray icon and select exit

Just for debuggingpurposes, I'd thought to mention it here anyway:
I'm running Vista-64-Ultimate on a Quadcore processor. Let me know if you want some more information about the system.

I swear it started happening after I turned off Aero but haven't turned it on again to verify or not, so wild assumptions ftw for now.

On a sidenote, I still have my mousecursor jump to my main screen quite a lot, I thought I read somewhere that that was fixed?

I'm running latest Keyclone (1.8k), have 3 monitors on 2 graphiccards. I only use 1 graphiccard and 2 monitors out of those to play wow on.

Any word on when the fix will be for the Taskmanager shutdown bug on vista X64?

This problem also exists on Windows 2008 x64, which shares a lot of core code with Vista SP1 x64.

I experience the same problem on Vista x64, but I've figured out a temporary work-around. If you minimize keyclone to the system tray and right-click the icon from there, choosing 'Exit' will close keyclone properly. Aside from this little glitch, keyclone has been one awesome piece of software for me.
