Hi,

Context: I have 3 PCs, 2 Vista and 1 XP Pro, 3 monitors (24" widescreen 1920x1200) each running a copy of WoW with their own account.

Goal: Use 3 PCs to level toons using a carebear high level lead character and two follow along lowbees.

Problem: Was using Synergy until now but Synergy has issues with right-click drag camera positioning which slows me down tremendously and having to mouse to each screen to cast and loot is also time consuming. I've been playing around with Octopus since Friday and I'm having issues with the key and click broadcast. the KVM side of things works great. I read the tutorial and wiki but its not clear to me what needs to be done to get =, - ,0, 9, 8, Space and mouse clicks to broadcast to my two external PCs ?( .

If anyone can help, maybe share a working config it would be great.

Thanks

- Dalis

in the keys list of your octopus server instance, make sure you set it to white list, and then add all keys you want to forward to clients.
in the toggle list you have to set a key to toggle key broadcast, after you pressed it you can send keys to clients, if you press it again it stops sending.
you can also make a toggle for passing all keys (when you want to type /dance or something at all your clients) and for your mouse clicks.

With this in mind and the wiki/tutorial you should manage with octopus

also to broadcast, on each PC, the WoW window must be added via auto add or via instance launch from the server. otherwise the client will do nothing =)
