I poked around a bit and couldn't seem to find anything relevant, I apologize if this is discussed elsewhere.

I'm using keyclone and am in a very active guild, I like to chat a lot. I have most of my keys unmapped, I use keyclone to just pass the # keys along with modifiers (shift, alt, ctrl, etc).

I run into a problem though when I want to talk in guild chat. Before I know it, my other character is trying to cast all kinds of crazy spells and eating all my food.

My first thought was to set up round robin in such a way so when I hit the enter key (to bring up chat window) it stops broadcasting and I could chat away, then when I hit enter again to submit my chat, it starts broadcasting again and away I go. I can't seem to get this to work though.

Any ideas?

brilliant idea... why not just set my override key as enter.

I never said I was smart.

you could set your do-not-pass hotkey to control+PAUSE (this is what i do). this would allow you to have your whole group do a /wave and/or login without an issue

the default on my keyclone was the pause key with no modifier. thats what i use and dont have many issues. but the enter trick will work if you dont want to be able to do a few things like simultaneous log-ins as keyclone said.
