Hi,

got him down on the third try with restro + 3 ele and my girlfriend playing the pally tank.

I dragged him to moroes room and constantly ran around to avoid the exploding red spheres. Basically I was constantly on the move.
Since the boss also heals himself it took me 26 minutes, about 1million (!) dmg done and about 990k healing done (!) to kill him.

Now, would anyone have a better and more boxer friendly tactic for this guy? Especially since I had _zero_ chances of taking him down without
my gf playing the pally (I had to move with the shami and the pally group independently).

kind regards

Nice work! I just tried him a few times (Druid tank, 3 shaman, and priest) and couldn't avoid those Sanguine Spirits (they blowup for 5000+ shadow damage).

I tried putting the shaman and priest up on the railing outside his room to avoid the spirits, but they have a path up there and I am not coordinated enough to run them through the rooms without getting the shaman snagged on a table or corner. My dps would be a bit light anyhow, but if I can find a nice spot to target from I'll let you guys know.

Again, great work

It's really an all out dps fight. 10 boxing goes fine with 2-3 dead (tank plus others being "mirrored" by the boss).
The combat is so mobile that you have to rely on your dps. I just pull him with tank and place the group at max dps range. Even both healers are dpsing just some initial aggro on tank.

Adds despawn when boss dies.

For those haven't tried yet, mind that as soon as you open door he aggores, so set everything up before :)

The pet is for everyone, the best part is the 2 badges ;) Guitar/axe is fun.

We found it best to kite the dps backwards through the rooms with the tank following. Once a red beam fades Lb CL Shock back up. Worked great.

My guild had no idea what to do and basicly 3 people died instantly. Luckily the tank did catch up. Me (4 elemental shaman), tank, 2 healers and a dps started kiting him back and forth, we had a lot of npc's up still in the room so were limited with kiting, but we basicly just went back and forth and killed him first try. Fun fight!

Got the pet on all four, but lost the greed roll on the Ripper. :<

i luckily have friends in some of my servers higher end guilds, so i got them to bring me with. most of em were like, t5 (equivilant or better gear) so it was a cinch. it took me longer to get there from Shat than it did to kill him.

I died, but it felt like I accomplished more because I MADE him chase me down and pummel me.

if you want to cheese the fight then just look at the positioning I use

most of the orbs will chase your tank or disappear without doing much

I just couldn't do this guy with my prot pally + 4 shamans. I used the spot in the pic above - its above the room next to moroes, where all the dancing people usually are - and the shamans never got hit by the balls, but he would basically get to 30-35% and heal up to 40% always, just bouncing between those two numbers. Very frustrating as you can imagine, wiped 3 times after spending 20+ mins getting him to 40%.

What I did was port my pally back to shattrah and spam trade for caster DPS, filled up the group with 5 more mages/boomkins and 1 shotted him no problem. Everyone got the bat, my pally got the axe (woot), and everyone got the quest done. Went on with the group and did maiden/opera before I had to leave for lunch.

So I'd recommend you solo perhaps attumen/moroes/maiden, zone out for 30-60 mins so the instance is cleared, and then spam trade/lfg for casters only to do just the new optional boss. They can pretty much go all out DPS, I just used my shamans to chain heal (one of the boomkins died). Boss dies fast with a bloodlust and 8-9 DPS casters, lol :)

Oh, just have your tank kite him around in the room below, keeping away from red orbs. They heal him when they explode, the range is funny though because some that are super far away still healed him when I was soloing it. Have everyone go up onto the pillar ledge in the room above, and the bombs will never come close. You can't do it in the room above moroes, the bombs spawn up there.
