I like your desk overall, but does your neck ever get strained from looking to the far right on the alts?

Nice setup. It's raining here in VA too, no sun just tons of gray clouds. But I do enjoy this weather.

Could you post more details? Number of machines. And what are the two black things on top of the desk?

One thing that isnt in the picture is the big screen tv that is to my left. So between looking to the left to watch football or to the movies, and to the right to look at my alts, it evens out. With jamba there is really no need to monitor the alts all the time anyway.

The boxes on the top are Silverstone cases for my two computers. I didnt like the heat under my desk during our hot summer so i used the silverstone media center cases.

Computer 1 -- runs my main
Vista 64 Ultimate
Silverstone case
ASUS MB P5N-D
Q9300 Quad Core CPU
8GB RAM
BFG 260GTX
Acer 24" monitor
Pioneer 20x SATA DVD
SATA 250GB Hard Drive
Logitech G15 keyboard
Microsoft Wireless Notebook mouse
KavoomKM! --> runs the second computer completely (i dont have a keyboard or mouse hooked up to it)

Computer 2 -- runs four instances of wow
Windows XP
ASUS MB P5N32-SLI-SE-Deluxe
Q6600 Quad Core CPU
4GB RAM
BFG 260GTX
Two Planar 20" monitors on 1600x1200 sideways --> yields slaves at 800x600 which is readable
Pioneer 20x SATA DVD
SATA 500GB Hard Drives * 2

The 260 GTX are LOUD. Working on switching them out to a quieter solution or a water cooled version. I do like the performace though.

Cool, I'm thinking of going to a 2 computer setup now that I have a 9800gx2 in my computer now, which frees up the 8800gtx to put in another computer.

What is Jamba? And can you explain how you control your alts and main with the kavoomkm? Thanks!

*edit* NM, I figured it out. I just downloaded and purchased kavoom km and installed the 8800gtx in my other machine. Just waiting for my license to activate so I can play for more than 30 mins at a time :X

But I'd still like to know what Jamba is :) Kavoomkm is quite awesome though. Works great on even a 100mb network.

I see your cushioned leg rest under there and raise you my nicely padded ottoman.

I thought about going the ottoman route, but it cant be pulled out of the way as easily when i am doing serious work.

This setup is way better than the three computers, three keyboards, three 20" huge CRT monitors that i started with in 1998 three boxing asheron's call. It was lots of turning and moving around .. thinking of that, maybe that's what caused me to need neck surgery a couple years ago. bleh.

Diet MD is the bomb for a sugarfree drink. :P

How did you setup kavoomkm with the two sideways displays? In the kavoom setup you can't place your main monitor between the two monitors on the second machine. So then you have to keep dragging your mouse the left or right to get to the other two monitors. It's kinda weird.... is that how yours is setup?

Mine are setup with the main to the far left and the two sideways monitors to the right. I dont know what settings to make the two monitors from the second computer straddle the main.
