Add-on to Show Channeling/Casting Bars on Main?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend an add-on to show the casting bars from my slaves on my main window. My current one shows most spells under the "player group window" but not channeled spells. I am leveling up a mixed group that includes a shadow priest and would like to watch when Mind Flay ends.

I use/love x-perl unitframes on my main account only, shows casting bars etc plus much prettier party/player frames. Also shows casting bars for enemies and has a ton of other features. Doesn't really requiring configuring cause it works great out of the box but it also has a ton of possible tweaks.

Pitbull does this as well. I've added a couple of vids to my filefront spot ('http://hosted.filefront.com/Ughmahedhurtz/') that should illustrate Pitbull in action. Hope it helps. :)

Note, too, the uncluttered look of a tweaked Pitbull config. I like it better than Xperl primarily because it is so configurable (and easy to copy said config to other clients).

Ok, so X-perl is showing the casting times. However, it doesn't work for channeled spells for me. That's kinda what I was looking for. I tried "partycastingbars" but it didn't seem to work for me at all. Oh well, back to the search..

You still have it configured wrong.

I use it with drain soul, drain life, drain mana, etc, and it shows casting times just fine on my main window for all my clones.

Are you on the newest version? You should wipe out the entire addon and all settings for it and reinstall it, mine did this out of the box and I haven't ever changed any settings.

I've also used Quartz with good results.

I so need to go back and reconfig all my addons on my baby shammies, macros too. but I've decided I'll get them the last burst to 60 and park them until RAF is done so I can make more teams. Will redo them at 60.

I use something that was part of cosmosui, called party casting bars. It's very simple, as that's all it does. No setup required that I'm aware of. The only downside to it is that it has some dependencies on part of the cosmos suite like khaos and sea and some other stuff, so you have to install and enable those also in order for the addon to work; but it does the job. :)

Hmm, well I actually did delete my addons folder and re-install all of my updated addons right after the recent patch (twice actually). I will double check the version of X-Perl but it came out after Oct-15 (or whenever the 3.0 patch was). I did notice that it was a bit buggy - sometimes it doesn't show all of the buffs on the player icons and they appear only after I click/unclick one of the settings in the config menu. Maybe there is a conflict somewhere.

I also tied partycastingbars but it didn't work, but I am assuming because I didn't have that other dependency you mentioned.

Quartz can't show more than 1 other person's cast bar. It can show player/target/focus cast bars... Great if you are two boxing, but if you focus/sheep then you will lose the cast bar of your party. Xperl or pitbull as Ughmahedhurtz said. I'm going to try the pitbull... xperl is so cluttered looking with arcane bars enabled.
